After skipping the long german passage I thought that you wouldn't read out all those names. But wow, this is real dedication. Can't wait for the chapter IX video to be over 2 hours long due to multiple really long lists like the list in this one. And I'll still enjoy it.
I think I’m going to start leaving notes here as I read along (tysm btw, I never could’ve made it this far without you) So far, by far, my favorite chapter in the book. Both plots are starting to pay off on their earlier setups and the more peculiar aspects of this book (though I know little of what this shall shape up to be) are starting to come out (see: 20 minutes of reading names) I think I am going to like this book.
Thanks for the audiobook, really well read! Looking forward to seeing how you approach reading out future chapters. I'm reading House of Leaves for the first time and I'm about halfway through the book, listening to this as well. : )
Would you ever consider reading the notes in the appendix? this is where i failed to stay dedicated in the first read, but the audiobook has helped so much. would really appreciate the reading to attempt to get thru that
@@oskar5724 I paused the recording to go read them myself and wow. They are heavy, long, and very insightful. They provide so much to the character of Johnny and are 100% worth looking into if anyone is curious.
The approach to adaptability I think is the right choice. I am curious to see how it is handled when the typography and kerning get really wild. The avoidability of the deliberately indulgence of 100% psuedointellectual analysis using time stamps and their nature in the dooblydoo is the way to handle it great compromise I think the listen should know they are there and there location within the greater story as every reader would but the listener also needs the option to say "Okay Zampano if real was an outsider with respect to dissertation and also weird if not outright insane" or "Zampano if fictitious is strictly pushing the atmospherics of an obsessive and the passage is demonstrative of the graphomaniac characterization" and just say "Okay Zampano we get it" and just skip pages of his blather. To hear the weird parts strictly as if is mandatory reading in the original media one might get the impression that the autoplay is playing a video from an entirely different thing like it is reading off Patreon patron shoutouts after a dry video essay
My respects for you to ve able to read the whole list of names.
For anyone who doesn't wanna listen to all the names listed, the list ends around 52:50
Thank you very much
Thank you very much ❤
Bless you 🎉
Thanks
You kidding? Having someone else read the names so you can rightly proclaim that you didn’t skip is one of the best reasons to listen.

You are an incredible narrator and your channel is one of the best in the whole TH-cam.
Thank you so much! Means a lot
I wholeheartedly nominate you to read for audible, thanks for the reading 😊 📖
You deserve so much praise for all this work. Lovely reading
Thankful for you! I’m out on covid and thanks to being able to read along with your audio I’m completely invested in this!

Thank you for this audiobook! As a non English native, it helped a lot

Oh no has the daughter been playing in the corridors?
Oh yes thank you 🙌🙌🙌

One day, one day. Might take a break after the main narrative :)

Can I ask what mic and recording software you use?
Literally just voice memo on iPhone 😂 and then I render it with iMovie. Does it sound ok?
@@oskar5724 wow thats impressive, sounds great. ig the tech has gotten much better in recent years, my phones mic is awful!

The writer of this novel is pretty annoying with the rambling of shit that is unnecessary. I chalk it up to a heavy diet of additional substances

The giant list of names on page 65 are actually photographers. This book is insane. 📖 📏
