How to apply for US Tourist Visa from Canada 2024? B1/B2 Visa, Full Process Explained!!

Hi guys, In this video, We will talk about How you can apply for US Tourist Visa from Canada in 2024? For US, there is B1B2 Tourist visa that you can apply as a visitor. For the application process, you have to fill and submit a DS 160 form. In that form, you have to provide your basic personal information including Name, Address, Status in Canada, Employment details, etc. You have to have upload a Photo as per US visa specifications. After completing the form you have to select an Interview date and choose your Passport Drop option that can be at your place. The cost for US Tourist visa is 160 USD i.e., 220 CAD. The wait time for US tourist visa is 12-18 months in Canada. However, you can reschedule your Interview date at night to get a quicker Interview date. For the documents, you have to carry your Passport, Work Permit/ Study Permit, DS 160 Filled form, Photo and other relevant forms as per your case. At the US Consulate, you can bring your phone and wallet that can be submitted outside. First, you have to go for your Biometrics and then you will head over for your Interview process. During the interview, the Immigration officer will ask your about the purpose of your visit, your current residency, current employer, status in Canada, etc. After the interview, they will take your passport for stamping that will be delivered to you later in 15-20 days. No, they won’t ask for pay stubs and the type of job doesn’t matter. If you fill
everything correctly and they should not feel that you are going to stay there other than tourist purposes.
