How To Tie The EP Clouser Minnow - Surf Fishing

I wanted to make an EP fiber variation of the Clouser Minnow because I wondered if it would work. After my recent trip to Orange Beach, AL, I can tell you that this fly worked great in the surf for catching Lady Fish. I was most surprised about how near the shore I could catch fish. Throughout my 5 days of fishing, I caught Pompano, Lady Fish, Sand Perch, and one other species I never identified.

Polar Bear EP Fibers
Bait Fish EP Fibers
Small Chartreuse Dumbbell Eyes
Krystal Flash (Bone Fish Tan)

Alas, one of my most common mistakes. Still, that exact fly caught a lot of fish for me in Orange Beach, AL so I think it’s still acceptable.
