MILLENNIUM LAKEFRONT ANCHORAGE HOTEL, ALASKA

A taxidermist delight - the entire lobby is appointed with all of the varieties of animals that you could see in the wild while touring Alaska, bears, moose, elk, small animals - on the walls and as rugs even. While eating in its restaurant, several moose came right up to my window view and looked in at me. It is thrilling to be in Alaska and if you want the flavor of being there, not in a cookie cutter hotel, this will suite you. Also it is only about one mile from the airport, how convenient is that?
