To anyone new to my channel, WELCOME ABOARD the JohnInTucson express train to pretty much nowhere, but as I hope you can tell from my reaction videos, I'm here to have a good time and it's my hope that you too are enjoying the content that I present to all of you. Many of my viewers across the planet work 9-5 jobs and have a lot of stress in their lives, as we all do, however in my mind it's always nice to come home at the end of the day or even on your break if you get one, to sit back and watch a video (or 20)and relax - just let the stress slip away.
I take full time care of my 87 year old Mother and she lives with me in my home here in the southwestern desert region of Arizona in a city named Tucson, hence my oddball screen name. I'm pretty disabled myself physically after a horrific bout with Prostate cancer, then sudden onset adult Diabetes with an enormous weight gain in a very short time period, almost killed me 3 times in as many years.
I've learned a valuable lesson in only the last few years, and that is to SLOW DOWN and enjoy your life. So often we blame our circumstances for why we are depressed when in fact, we have the power to change all of that (generally speaking) by simply changing our mindset. Be positive in everything that you do, no matter the circumstance - your attitude goes a long way towards the way others interact with you. Make it your mission in life to help someone out in whatever manner possible, on a daily basis. When you shift focus from your own problems, to helping someone else out with their issues, you will find your own troubles fading into background noise very quickly. Helping others creates 'something' that seems to wake up the universe, and you will find people and your life, will become more and more positive and great things will start happening to you - all because of your positive attitude.
Okay, enough lecturing LOL.

I have watched this vid countless times-the time flies listening to Katrina sing-she doesn't imitate Whitney (which she can do and do amazingly) she pays a tribute to her-she does have the same warmth to her voice though and so much soul-- this always brings a tear to my eyes-- RIP Whitney

Tell me how we almost have the same first name and i sound nothing like her?i have to have a talk with my mom lol, but anyway i love this woman so much to me she's the best singer of all time there's no denying that. John, I checked your past videos and some of your fan's comments and I noticed that you have not discovered a singer that is "right in your wheelhouse". She is Kim So Hyang from South Korea. She is so different and so amazing that you will be glad that you did.
Look for her performances of "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" or "You Raise me Up" for openers. There are many more, each different. She does ALL of her own arrangements including the orchestra and chorus music.

Katrina Velardi with 8 voice... the famous female singers in the hollywood she knows it to copy. name it and u will be keep ur mouth shut and make your eyes and ears explode and your heart melts because u can feel whatever emotion she sings.. she is very talented without voice lesson and voice coach just a gift. Her own voice is very impeccable promise u will know it when u hear her in person. If ur a producers for sure u will make a lots of money... swear! I dont know her but she is excellent...

Right Katrina's got good phrasing and good enunciation too when singing but would you believe me if I told you that she can barely speak english?
Hi Mario - Yes, I could tell that Kat doesn't speak English, but I don't speak Tagalog either so she and I are in the same boat, we both sing Phonetically. I am learning Tagalog now though, so we'll see!
@@JohninTucson Yes you got it spot on by saying phonetically my friend. When filipinos cant speak straight english they mix it with tagalog words. Filipinos understand english well but it's another thing when speaking it. Loved that you responded thanks....youre great guy to have a chat with:)
