I love this so much, but I don't like the Ochroes in it, (but I do love Ochroes) what I do now to avoid the lumps, I mix water into the cornmeal to make a lil runny paste, then slowly add it in whilst I continue to stir, I also saw some 'popular' ppl doing this now, cause it's so much easier . Coconut milk can be added instead of water too, but I've never tried it.
Traditional Trinidadian Coo Coo, Yellow Cornmeal, Coconut Mike and Okra? within the last 20 years or so Some People Started Adding Other Ingredient Like Carrots, Pumpkin and Green Seasoning to Their Coo Coo.
Back in the day cocoo only had ochroes water oil salt and cornmeal tossed in salt butter.
All it missing is the fried fish and callaloo lol yummy
