I will say this …. My mom always said… somebody is always watching you. So I’m not sure if the car theft attempts are happening in your neighborhood or what but I will say this…. When I was living alone I remember what my mom told me…. You think that you minding your business and your neighbors co workers etc are always watching…. So some people know what type of job you have … where you work …. They know your schedule… all just by looking out of their window and you don’t even know them !!! I had a Hyundai but I had nice rims on it… that car brought so much unwanted attention! Everyone loved my car but it honestly was a target as a single person! I understand you may want a nice car but if your car is a luxury car or an attractive car I would trade it in until I can buy a home or find somewhere safer…. Even then I do not want any attention grabbing cars anymore while I’m single !
Not trying to be harsh as you're still young and evolving, but you left the covering of your husband because you were bored? When you say it out loud, I'm sure you regret that decision. Unfortunately, as Charlotte continues to grow in population, the crime rate will increase. It's hard to avoid. I stay in the South Park area, and it happens here too. And just a FYI, do not take your vehicles to the dealership for maintenance as they will overcharge you unless it's under warranty.
I would take it to a dealership if the car is still in new condition or 6 years old and under….. with the dealership if they don’t do something right or fix the issue they have to go back and correct it….. when you go to self made car places they love to blame you and then make you pay again to fix the original problem!
I would move out of Charlotte. Find a nice rural town .It's much safer. It's too many people struggling in Charlotte. These are things people don't tell you when they talk about CLT because all they do is glamorize the Uptown area.

Hush love, that stings. Maybe time for a move. You might have to pay more in rent, but might be worth it.

Charlotte is a very sneaky place to live. It's full of female raised boys that's grown & still living with mommy.
