INSTAGRAM IS A LIE: This is what it REALLY takes to film ONE REEL

Aggressive skating is the pinnacle of rollerblading. Technical finesse meets physical danger: that’s what makes it so challenging. And so addictive. My friend Frieder Jan Moerman wanted to ride a line with six tricks at our local skatepark Blaarmeersen (Ghent, Belgium) and though the idea seemed simple, it took us four sessions and more than sixty takes to nail it. But the reward felt tremendous.

Yeah, you normally never see the fails. And filming takes a lot of efforts to make it look fantastic. Great behind the scene footage. Well done! And besides that, skating these lines with at least two skaters really is the fun to go for!

Most of the action footage was shot with the DJI Osmo Action 4. The lens is pretty standard for an action cam: _FOV: 155° Aperture: f/2.8. Focus Range: 0.4 m to ∞_
Most of the B-roll was shot on iPhone 15 Pro, some of it in cinematic mode for some fake bokeh.
The drone footage was shot with the HOVERAir X1.
