It's so weird to me... as a 10 year old all I thought when singing to this song on repeat was how catchy it was and how bomb she looked in the video and dance routines. But today reading the lyrics it's so obvious some of her songs were like a cry for help and her way of expressing her struggles and frustration in her life. It's so sad... Even though this song seems to fit perfectly with what has happened and continues to happen to Britney, in truth it could have been written about any or all of the young singers/performers that he has worked with over the years.
