True. I used to live in ATL, now live in Charlotte. Atlanta is more about its suburbs, Charlotte is more about the downtown area. Nicer I think.
I visited in 2018, and then in October 2020. Uptown was a ghost town... :/
Perhaps it’s due to COVID, but this city feels lifeless. It’s pretty, but just not very lively.
