I really appreciate you showing us the microphone voice quality, and mentioning that this speaker is good for hearing voices in videos.
I just bought and am returning the Anker Soundcore, because audio playback of audiobooks is muffled, due to the Soundcore's emphasis on bass.
I need more midrange and high range sound because of my age. 😀 I use a BlueParrot headset for calls, and even it's newer models have ruined the clarity with more bass than I want.

This speaker is good and LOUD. Just too much bass for my needs. I get better sound quality from my Samsung Galaxy S10e.
I bought the JBL GO@ for podcasts on my phone. It did not suit my purposes.
I usually don't watch indian tech reviewers but you do a good job with the edits and the witty statements just be a little more expressive. Nice review, I heard the comparison and although I don't feel like the other speakers beat the JBL completely as far as audio is concerned the bass is definitely better owing to it's bigger size but it does sound kinda muddier compared to the JBL. (was listening to it on the sony xm3s if it makes any difference). Overall best review for the product I could find.

Your honest face and sincerity is your forte. Your reviews sound genuine which is a huge plus for me as a viewer. One advice though, try to sound less mechanical. It feels like you are reading from something. Let it flow seamlessly. This will make your videos more appealing.

Thanks! Yes, I am trying to achieve a balance between sounding natural, and cutting down the time. The free flow part is something I notice too, though, some things can only be improved with time and experience.
Vaibhav Singla I feel that is how he naturally talks. Maybe mechanical as he doesn't express facially much for some, but for me its natural enough. I enjoy his videos. He reminds me of my brother who talks in a very similar way. 👍

Thanks. That speaker also has a single 3w driver, and its from Logitech, so it should perform quite similarly. That being said, I think that it's better to just avoid these single driver speakers unless you only want to listen to people speaking in videos or podcasts, and anker offers much better value for money in the lower price range segment.

All battery powered devices will have their battery lives shortened after a year or two because of how Li Ion batteries work, though, my speaker has been working fine.

From 3 feet, yes, from 5 feet, it won't work very well.

Nope, mics aren't tested well by other people, and even companies don't have it as their priority. The one in jbl go 2 is pretty good though.

"It's also fun to feel the vibrations in your hands or on your body." I agree! One question, I was mesmerized by you more than listening. How long does it take to charge fully? I can never tell. The light stays red then turns off, then I plug it in right away, hoping to see no red light, and it's still red. Any advice? I love this for the music I listen to, mostly anything before 1994. But especially Netflix/Hulu and of course podcasts. This was a gift, used, but a gift, and I don't have a manual. :)
Once the LED turns off when charging, it's charged, and you don't need to plug in again. When you do that, it still lights up, because the power cutoff doesn't get activated.

I am using the jbl go from last 2 yrs ..... awsm speaker ..... if u prefer quality over quantity .... then go for jbl .... it has depth in sound even at low volume ...... as i live in pg and rental rooms i never feel to play it on full volume ..... i will suggest go for it
Anker Soundcore 2 blows it out of water in SQ even at low volumes. I have a review of that too. And it has a great quality too, so at least at Rs. 2700, I'd only recommend Go 2 to someone who can't get Anker from China, or needs something smaller.

The speakers are not the same size though, i understand 1000 rupee less. I like it better than the jbl clip, bought mine for 20€ now before it was 29 or so. Definitely worth it. Anker brand is also very nice and affordable 👌

Thanks, you can definitely go for it it's worth it. It has the same DAC chip as BTR1, so difference in sound quality shouldn't be much, but it also supports APTXHD and LDAC, which could make a positive difference, and with USB C and NFC, it's totally worth it, it's wireless range is also better. I have a lot going on at the moment, but I'll try to get my hands on it. You can also wait for Fiio BTR1K which also had USB C and NFC.

Could you please advise what is the distance upto which mic absorbs the sound clearly. My requirements is to have a device like this kept five feet away from me and have a phone conversation using this.. thanks in advance.

5ft will be easy with this speaker, the mic is designed to capture voice from a 5-7 feet away. Havent tested Amazon Echo Dot though, it might also perform well.

Would you be so kind to recommend a portable speaker that i can use a hands free microphone to use for my fitness classes. I teach Yoga and I need good voice and sound quality. It doesn't have to be waterproof. The studio is about 25 ft x 25". For almost 2 hours non stop. But i must have my hands free. Big difference but still good for single use im using mine right now and it sounded slighly different but either way im pretty happy with it easy to use and i can have it in my purse when im not using it
