- Jeff walks us through the new Ask Echo bag with their SILENCE technology. He goes through the specs, how it works, who its for and is it worth the asking price.
This is one of the most unique golf bags we have ever reviewed. Super secure, and enough room for extra clubs.
f interested in the bag, here is a juicy discount code: JEFFHERMAN - you can use this at

First, I love the attachment straps on the back of my Sun Mountain C130 that allow me to just strap my bag to the cart basket. You say the straps on this one are for a pull cart. I think you need to revisit that if in fact they allow attachment to the cart basket. This allows you to not need the bag strap and it keeps your bag securely in place without binding it with a bag strap.
Secondly, I had the Bag Boy revolver and hated the bottom grip attachment system because you were constantly searching for the sweet spot to get your grips to snap in correctly.
Finally, I don't like a bag where the above pocket pouch hangs loosely into the bottom pocket, getting in your way when you look for the balls you want that day.
Totally agree. Those straps can be used for many things. Thanks for the comment and feedback. I really appreciate it
Thank God..Ive always wanted to tip my clubs upside down and have struggled for years trying to figure out how to make my life make sense. I can now sleep at night thanks to this golf bag.
Sarcasm?
Idk, i wanted to buy nice clubs but don't want them flying out everytime I put them in my trunk banging on everything. Sounds good to me lol
@@12mmratchet84I use the rain cover to keep the clubs in place when I have them in my car.
This is also good for the person who hauls a cart on a trailer to and from the course. I was looking for a solution to keep my clubs from rattling around while being on the trailer without removing them from the cart. This may be the solution.
just got mine. only critique i have is it need a ring on the bottom to catch the umbrella head....and better use of front pocket space, but the main feature is beautiful
@@chrisfro7994 totally agree. Thanks for the comment. Really appreciate it. Enjoy the new bag.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
You are welcome.
I really like the concept of this bag and could see myself using it. I was no aware of the brand before watching the video so thanks for bringing it to our attetntion.
John- you got it. Hope you are doing great!!!
@@modrngolfI enjoyed your video. I wanted to know if the clubs are easy to get out the bag once it’s mounted on the cart ?
@@ariesnc6320 first off, thank you.
Secondly, yes- it takes a little work but I’d still say it’s easy.
@@modrngolf I’ve seen others say the bag is taller than other bags so the clubs are a challenge to get out due to that. Also do you find the grips get worn due to the friction of the rubber piece on top ?
@@ariesnc6320 I haven’t noticed a huge difference. But- I change my grips more than most.
Explaining how the cover fits over the bag and I’m waiting for the cut back to it. I can you hear you putting it on but you never cut away from the photos.
Yes -the second camera had an issue - I’ll do a short on it soon. Thanks!!!
I was waiting for that to
Interesting camera angle too. The elefant in the room
@@bbanl - was actually a two camera shoot. The main camera had an issue - so I used the side one. I’ll try better next time around.
Great review as ever. If you had the Arccos system would it keep pulling them out of the grips and be lost forever?
Great question. I’ll see if I can try that and see what happens
@@modrngolf did you get to try this?
@@deepakvrao not yet.
@@modrngolf I have this same question. How does it work with clubs that have arccos attached?
Any update on the club slots holding up? Reviews online says it gets loose over time ( unlike their T Lock bag better but looks like putters with big covers don’t fit in that bag very well
We really haven’t seen much deterioration. The putter well is definitely odd for me. The rest has been good.
@@modrngolfI actually like that putter well better. The one on the T-Lock is half the size. Just hoping that silence system holds up.
Would this system damage the screw in sensors on the grips?
It shouldn’t. So they say. I’ve never had anyone tell us it did anything
I’ve been looking for a “silencer” type bag, this is by far the coolest I’ve seen. Couple questions. Does it come in all black? Does it have a heavy duty rain hoodie? Thanks
The one shown is their black colorway. It comes with a standard rain hood. Thanks.
Does the super stroke putter grip fit in the bottom restraint ?
It does- depending on the size. The putter was the one club where we had a harder time getting it to click in. Besides that- they fit great. Thanks.
Is there any added wear and tear on the grip from where it clips in and out of the bottom
To be honest- none that I’ve noticed. But I haven’t tested it for 100 rounds. Thanks!!!
I use a ShotScope. How would that system in the base affect the club tags?
I’ll find out. Thanks.
Would love to see a comparison of this and the Ogio silencer or woode bag
Soon.
I wonder if this works with jumbomax Xl grips?
@@bb-fe9ur it does-
Any issue with jumbo grips fitting?
They say no- I’ve tried a bunch and haven’t had any issues. Thanks for the question.
Helo i want buy this bag but i live in france , and they dont ship in France. It is possible you help me to find solution ? Thanks .
I’ll find out. Thanks.
Will the jumbo max xl grip fit. I kinda doubt it.
Not sure. They would fit in the top section, just not sure they’d click in.
Should've bought the T Lock system bag. This silencer bag has DESTROYED my Arrcos sensors on the end of my clubs. Hundreds of dollars wasted.
Stay tuned.
@@modrngolf what am I staying tuned for?
@@daboyprunna t lock review coming up soon.
Destroyed them how? I have this bag and arccos haven't had an issue yet but only been a week or two....
Cool concept kind of a rip off of Ogio. However, I would never buy this bag on account of the horrible branding/name and associated loud lettering plastered all over. If they were to come up with an option that had color matching lettering where the lettering matched the background I would likely be a customer…
@@michaellemaire7827 I’ll pass along the information. Thanks!!
Flag upside down at end of video.......sad but thanks for the review.
I think it was pulled off to show in the video and then I just stuck it on. There were actually two flags attached at one point. No one was trying to insult the flag. Trust me. Thanks for the comment.
I'm shocked nobody has said it but the bag looks like blatant C130 rip off down to the name... SL(C-130) LOL pretty funny. a bag like this would be nice. I just bought a C130S as I hate using a cart bag for the range and it seems to be the perfect balance of cart and stand bag. I love 14 way full length divided cart bags. can't STAND 4-6 slot stand bags the way the grips bind is just terrible.
@@Traplordsosa it’s similar looking- but very different features and top. However, I totally get where you are coming from. Thanks!!’
My understanding that bag doesn’t work well with midsize/jumbo grips!
Midsize are okay. Jumbo could be an issue.
$300 bags are definitely for a small percentage of players.
I try to not spend other peoples money.
