Hey, you can find unhelpful sales people and traffic jams in most of America! I felt right at home. I found this video comforting! Thanks from New York.
Such a good lesson for all of us as to the importance of being kind. Perhaps the person in the shop was having a difficult day. It teaches us that even when we are struggling, if we are rude others will suffer.
So many cars, so much traffic! Too bad about the yarn shop. I convinced my husband to take me to a yarn factory outlet, it was at the end of a muddy road in an industrial park! We kept thinking we were lost, but finally found it. It was worth the trip, the prices were great!
Oh my, better when receiving a shopping (or anything else day) with Valeria and Alex. Years ago when I worked retail, customers would say, can I interrupt your work. I would always say" Please interrupt me!" Always got as happy laugh from my customers, good for both of us. and Alex
Lovely Christmas 🎄 decorations 😊 The festive season doesn’t always bring out the best of some people. There are lots of more shops 🏬 Have a great festive season 🎉 Good video ✔️
A heart feels better when you have happiness! Too bad the seller couldn’t be kind. Kindness is so important in today’s world. 😊 Still enjoyed your drive and the decorations!
So much yarn, what a shame. I knit as well and I understand how important it is to receive good service in a yarn shop. It's part of the pleasure. Thank you for filming the shopping area!
Hi Valeria, I'm sorry you and Alex were treated so rudely! When this happens to me, I stop going to the shop. I love Christmas decorations, and the houses were really nice. The Santa stuck in the tree was so cute and made me laugh! I hope you are enjoying your knitting; I am knitting gifts for family and friends as well.
Thank you, Valeria! I did enjoy the Christmas decorations, but I'm so sorry that the salesman was rude to you. And you guys drove for 4 hours roundtrip! I hope you find your yarn at the lower price.
Lot of traffic! The yarn shop had a huge variety of yarn. Christmas is almost here! Time fly! The decorations is beautiful. Alex should make such a small wooden house!
Oh, I loved the Christmas decorations and shops, but I'm sorry the manager was rude in that one shop. Anyway, thank you, Valeria and Alex for a great video❤ kisses to Sheffy new dog and kitty 😺 ❤
I'm so sorry you had to endure that person's rudeness. Can't wait to see your Christmas tree and decorations. Thank you for taking us shopping with you. ❤
Thank you Valeria and Alex. Sorry you drove 2 hours each way to only receive rude assistance from the salesman. The Christmas decorations were pretty cool. Take care, hugs 🤗
Thank you Valeria & Alex for sharing the beautiful and sometimes funny Christmas decorations - the Father Christmas waggly legs made me laugh. I am sorry about the lack of customer service in the yarn shop, with that attitude they will soon go out of business.
I started decorating in October….I love Christmas! Sorry for the cranky folks who can ruin this time of year if we let them. Much love from Idaho, USA❤
TY Christmas 🎄🎁 deco , sorry people rude yarn 🧶 place, wouldn't drive in that traffic,to congested, also not like no parking,ty video, good you popped up on mine😀 hadn't seen you in awhile xx, keep safe careful
Hey from South Africa 🇿🇦. Like to see when you film while driving. Love the scenery. Its so strange to see that all the highways over the world looks nearly similar.
It’s true about all of the highways looking similar. Just did a road trip to Seattle Washington, through several US states, and the highways all look basically the same as shown in this video.
I enjoyed your video very much. You are very kind and an inspiration to be thinking of your family and friends. I'd like to say I watched every single advertisement on your video because I can't think of anyone who deserves it more. Much respect to you and your family God bless. Merry Christmas and and happy New year. I pray it's the best new year ever.
Seeing all the Christmas decorations was fun....and there is no excuse for rudness....especially if you want to sell your goods I'm glad you left his miserable attitude behind
Thank you for sharing your videos and the places you travel to, loved seeing all the Christmas decorations. Some of the Christmas decorations shown I haven't seen, especially here in the U.S. Best wishes to you, and Happy Holidays. Karen
Its always fun to see the markets, especially the Christmas markets. Thank you, for sharing with us. Sorry the shop assistant wasnt nicer to you. God bless you both. 🌷💗
I enjoyed the video and seeing the decorations. Sorry you were mistreated and weren't able to buy the yarn, but it sounds like it worked out for the best with Wildberries. Still a very long drive for Alex and you.
What a joy watching you yarn shopping....I shop for yarn whenever I travel. I AM AN ADDICT!I recognise so much of the yarn too, I have a lot of the Yarnart Flowers in my stash I so love the Russian knitting designers on YT too, my only issue , my inability to speak Russian so often it's a case of stopping and starting the vlog and it drives MY grumpy other half to despair. The extent of my Russian goes as far as naughty words learned from YT urbex channels. IM PLEASED my husband doesn't understand me cursing him!!! Thank you for sharing x
So unfortunate to experience that unhelpful assistant. I'm sorry you had to go four through 4 hours of driving for no yarn. I'm glad tho, that you found that WildBerries has it for less!! Yay!! You and Alex were very patient during that frustrating event. I must say that our driving situation here in Washington looks a lot like yours! Same construction, same congestion. Guess we're a lot alike! Thanks for your wonderful videos showing us how similar your life is to US life. I enjoy them all!
Love to knit but no shops that i know of. You have traffic, parking problems, rude ppl, today phone lines fell off poles so our only route home is closed. Good opportunity to get shopping done i guess. All my sweaters burned in the forest fire of 1993 that took our whole house and one of our dogs. Sad but he would be gone by now anyway. Bought cheap replacement furniture in case of more fires. Cute houses. We have lots for our wild birds. Love your videos. Your problems are similar to ours.
As an American, I just have to let you know that your English is excellent! Thank you for a peek into Russia. That shopkeeper sounds like a 'fill-in'. As in someone from another shop that doesn't sell yarn but when the actual shopkeeper needed to run to the bathroom or to get lunch, he asked a friend to just stand there & act like he owned the place. But being a man in a yarn shop doesn't sound like how a typical Russian man likes to be seen.
you are sweet and kind human beings. in my mind and heart of conflicted angered emotions your family & pets are always in my best and hopeful meditations
Hello Valeria: This video was so interesting, Love all Christmas decorations, and am very impressed with the prices. The are much lower than what I would pay in BC Canada. Everything is very beautiful. Your videos are always interesting, and enjoyable, thank you for your hard work putting them together. The music you have in your videos is fine. Best wishes to you and Alex.
The road tour of Moscow was interesting. I wish more Russians would post videos like this. Shopping for food, clothes, electronics, and other mall items. More detailed drives around Moscow including museums, arcades, amusement parks, downtown, buildings, etc. A tour of an average home would be good as well as what you guys do for fun and cook for each meal. Good info.
It is so sad for you to experience such poor customer service, after making that long journey to that shopping center. Such a disappointing day! Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year holiday.🎄💕
As someone who has spent their whole life in customer service, I have never understood bad customer service. It sounds like they were either new to the job OR has been forced to do the job (by family) It makes even less sense for a small business as they cannot afford to alienate customers, as soon they will have none. thank you for the video.
It would be interesting to hear how different Russian shopping is today compared to the 1980's. I remember hearing about long lines for most items back then wondering if it was exaggerated by the news in the USA.
Not a shop but a warehouse. This started as a failure to show fiber and ended as a failure to make a sale. I'm glad you have access to an on-line source at wildberries. If you can access Ravelry you can find many Russian knitters to contact for tips where to source yarns and interesting patterns. There may even be some knitting groups near your suburb where you can share with other knitters. It might be fun to request knitting/crochet/spinning classes where you take painting instruction.
I've started doing Christmas shopping by internet, because I live far from shops. The traffic is same here as there, drivers can be rude. Road construction is sometimes a challenge.
How disappointing and a waste of time and gas. It looks like the traffic is as bad as it is in Houston. Since I moved out of Houston 15 years ago, I don't particularly appreciate driving there. I mostly order online now, as there are no major stores close to me. I did like the Christmas deco you showed us. ❤🙏❄
Every experience can teach us something. In your case you learned that what might be popular is not what it seems to be. At least you got to spend time together. And Alex got to eat at his favorite burger place. LOL
Knitting is a dying art in the USA. I wish I knew how to knit. I hope you have a better experience in the future yarn hunting. I would love to see what you have made.
Get some cheapish yarn, preferably chunky, often found at thrift stores and watch some beginner videos here on YT. You will get the hang of it in no time. 😊
I’m so sorry that the salesman or owner was rude to you and Alex.I will tell you that if they continue to be rude to customers that store won’t be in business very long The customer should be treated with respect and kindness
Thank you Valeria and Alex for your time and effort to go to Moscow . It’s a shame that a shop associate acts like that towards a customer it’s just rude. It’s his loss Valeria they he has lost a customer through his rudeness. Thank you for your video. I do love Christmas decorations they have been out for a few months in the USA now. People will be putting their trees up next week Thanksgiving Day is when you start to see outside of houses and inside of houses start to get decorated. But by the 1st of the year people start to bring them down. Well Valeria, Alex .❤️🩹Keep warm and take care driving home. Big hugs to Sheffield 🐕🦺. Lots of love and Blessings to you all.🙏❤️❤️❤️
Sorry to hear that your trip to the market to buy yarn was such a disappointment. It is hard to understand why people working in a shop are so disinterested in helping prospective customers. Surely their employment depends on good sales. The shop had such a great stock of yarns of every colour and type it must have been frustrating not to be able to take some home. Thanks for showing the stalls with Christmas/New Year decorations. Judging by the labels they were mostly made in China, like many things these days. Many are just like we have here in Australia but there were quite a few that were different and very interesting.
It certainly was a well stocked shop with so many yarns. He probably wasn't the owner, Perhaps try telephoning the shop before your visit, and tell the owner why you had a bad experience. They might offer a discount next time. Unless you tell them, they will never know.
People working in retail sales would do well to remember the saying: "The customer is always right." You would have been a good customer, so that man just doesn't know how much revenue he lost by being rude. You will find a better store to do business with. 🙂
13:59 thank going to so much triple for this video. Are you going to buy a handmade doll again for your collection? Maybe you can show us what they look like again I think they’re beautiful. Take care.
People are losing out to AI, robotics and internet sales…small businesses without Customer Service will go extinct first. Love your Russian slice of life channel.

Alex, I'm glad you are patient and calm in the midst of heavy traffic.
Thankyou for taking the time to share your video of Christmas decoration!
Lovely Christmas 🎄 decorations 😊
The festive season doesn’t always bring out the best of some people.
There are lots of more shops 🏬
Have a great festive season 🎉
Good video ✔️

I already started decorating my house for Christmas. I enjoy looking at my decorations that's why I started early.

I have never seen such an astonishing amount of yarn!!! If I were you I'd find out who the manager/boss is and complain.
At least you have more knowledge about the prices there and how they compare to other places. And walking is good for us anyway 😜👍🌷

Sorry to hear of your bad experience, seems it is like this all over the world in these days. Thank you for taking us along.
Hello Valeria and Alex! I am a fan of your beautiful knitting❤
Hello! Love your blue beanie 😊
Hi Valerie, that bright red colored yarn would make a beautiful sweater for Sheffield! It looks cold there, nature is getting ready for the holidays.

Well done Valeria! Never reward bad behaviour. That man has disgraced Russia in front of your huge and admiring international audience! UK.
The shop assistant should know that customers buying pays the wages. No customers no shop!

Wow ,in Home Depot their Santa made in China is $49 and about 2 meters .
how do you call the market? and where is it GPS located?
I guess you had a grumpy shop assistant. I wonder if the owner knows about the behavior of his employee. Anyway, I enjoyed every part of your video.
