Well done mate I’m glad you got there in the end I’m still waiting for the bloke to give me the diagrams for my one mate but a interesting video on it mate 💯👍🏼
@@mastersmods yeah but when I bought my steering wheel it was already done I didn’t realise you had to swap the loom over so that taught me something mate
looks good mate, been looking into putting corsa vxr seats in my astra cuz i miss them but apparently you have to be about 6’4 for them to be worth it hahaha
@@mastersmods haven’t really looked extensively but from what i’ve read when they’re on rails that have been modified to fit the astra they need to sit really low so they don’t hit the roof
Its not a spanner mate it's the keyless entry light. It came on when I had to change the passengers door lock. Doesn't effect anything tho. As you saw, fits fairly easily tbf
hi mate, you definitely plugged the green airbag wire into green socket right? I have done exactly the same as you but now I have an airbag light. Any ideas
@@mastersmods yeh the yellow one, has a different connector. I’m baffled because I copied yours exactly and mine looked exactly the same. I think I’m gonna have to buy another corsa airbag or look into clearing the fault code somehow
@@mastersmods yes, the controls all work fine, and the horn is working. Tomorrow I’m going to take it off again and check over the connection to the bag itself.
@@mastersmods fixed it! Just took it off again and put it back on the same way. I guess the airbag connector was just out the slightest bit. Thanks for the video!
How did you manage to get the plastic at the back of the steering wheel to stay in place. As its got a big ribbon behind it. I give up trying to do none because of this
100% better. Apart from when I jumped out of my skin when reconnecting the battery 😂
Ha ha ha I don't know if you saw on camera, but I did too 😂
@@mastersmods I saw it hahahaha
@@dannyshearer 🤣🤣🤣
Awesome mod mate looks spot on fair play for figuring it all out
Easy enough my friend 👌
nice one mate glad you got it working :D
Cheers boys and yeah I got there 🥴
Nice little mod there looked at the corsa steering wheel myself
Something a bit different I thought
@Masters Mods yes definitely mate look forward to seeing the other plans 👍🏼
@Mattc _82 me too mate 😁

Cheers mate. Just a loom swap mate, that's it lol.

I'm planing replace corsa steering wheel for astra, I'm confident I can do this after watching your video, thanks man
No problem and good luck 👍
Looks awesome 👌🏻
Thank you mate
Nice little upgrade there bud.
Glad you think so too 👍
perfect going to order one asap , your upload on the coil overs really helped me as well many thanks
Glad to hear it 😁
Much appreciated been wanting to do this mod for ages. Now just to find one for the Corsa VXR front seats.... lol
There's plenty of breakers around that might have them. Oliver Lydon on fb usually has corsas in 👌
Looks really good 👍
Thanks mate

I've heard that the corsa seats sit higher ?
@@mastersmods haven’t really looked extensively but from what i’ve read when they’re on rails that have been modified to fit the astra they need to sit really low so they don’t hit the roof
@Sssnakepit I'll double check my source but I'm sure I heard that when those wing backs go into the astra, that they sit higher
Do corsa vxr seats fit directly into the astra?
@@11nny33 no need to do some fabrication with the astra seat rails
I don't know who jumped the most when you plugged the horn in, you or me. Looks really nice. Does it feel better when your driving. X
Ha ha I tried not to show it as I knew it could happen but still got me 🤣 yeah it is nice
Iv wanted to do this for a long time but didn't know if I needed a boss to make it fit. What is your spanner light on for mate?

Yes mate. I don't think it would of fit into the yellow one tbh

Could have filmed the process pal instead of recoding the finished bits.
It's not exactly rocket science though. Some people moan when I film too much and I can't please everyone
How did you manage to get the plastic at the back of the steering wheel to stay in place. As its got a big ribbon behind it. I give up trying to do none because of this
I didn't touch the clock spring, that stays on the steering column
@@mastersmods ye but on the corsa wheel there's no tabs to keep it in place for steering angle sensors. I don't get how it kept it in place
@@gazking08mx mine went straight on 🤷♂️ maybe you need one from a different year?
@@mastersmods they are all same on corsa wich are different on astra. If you looked on back of both wheels you would of seen this
@@gazking08mx I can't help you then pal. The corsa wheel went straight on to my Astra with no issues and haven't had any this far either
What one did you plug the airbag in?
@@richardgtav5251 they're colour coded yellow and green on most. I just plugged them into the right one
@@mastersmods I’ve on got one plug to the air bag but to on the back of the airbag
@@richardgtav5251 I think you have to get a wheel from a similar year corsa and then the plug match up
