Great techniques in another medium that I enjoy. I just in fact downloaded some images from Sketchy app to try them out. And I really am enjoying the Contis and Derwent tinted 24 count charcoal pencils. I found out that Lumograph makes non shiny graphite that is very unique and comes in a tin of 2-2b, 2-4b, 6, 8. Well it was an inexpensive gift to enjoy. I must say that I enjoy along with your paintings your positive self talk and sometimes it makes me chuckle a bit. It’s a great habit to say “ok looking good or that looks great” because it is an excellent example to help others to talk to themselves this way. All artists talk to themselves anyways that is a good habit if one isn’t a frustrated artist. :)
The thousands of hours you spent drawing make it look easy. Portraiture is the most challenging type of drawing in my opinion. Capturing likeness is extremely difficult. Nice job.
