It’s so rewarding getting a huge skip in a tight area and getting rewarded with a big crappie! Thanks for the sub!

Something I haven’t done much of is dock shooting. Because I don’t fish many lakes with docks but have been working on the technique. Good job.

It's weird how picky the fish will be on which docks and where at on the dock. There is really no rhyme or reason. But once you run across one there has been quite a few fish hanging out underneath them.

Just found your channel. I like it and if the fish are on docks that’s where you gotta fish lol. I’m up in WA state enjoy watching others crappie fishing. Everyone has their own style and sometimes I learn something I can apply up here. Great channel! Thanks for sharing!

A great video! Just found your channel. What lake or state are you in? I heard you call a white bass a sand bass on a separate video. That’s a new one on me.
    Keep posting them up

Live in Arkansas but grew up fishing in Oklahoma. I think that’s where I started calling them sand bass. Appreciate the comment!

Hey man ! Came across your channel. Good stuff ! I don't have a boat and just looking to start Crappie fishing. I usually fish for trout during winter, but is this common with crappie during winter months ? Being around docks during this time ? I have access to a few docks to fish off of.

If I am not gong crappie fishing I am also hitting the local trout streams! Good to hear from a fellow trout angler. But yes from my experience they do tend to hang around docks through the winter. Now that being said they won't be on every dock. You sometimes have to search for a while before finding a productive dock. It helps if someone has hung brush off the side of the dock. Gives the fish something to hold to and makes that dock more appealing to the fish.

I liked your video but I would like for you to show more of your electronics on finding brush piles and fish or side scanning the docks. Maybe talk about how deep the water is around the docks you fish.

If there's a bunch of docks on the lake, there will be plenty of crappie in them during the winter. Especially if they're over deeper water. No docks? Look for the brush. Just my experience.

That’s a seems to be the case. There’s a few out on brush but the majority are on docks or roaming open water.
