After making a lot of advice videos for year 12 myself it’s nice to say this is the first advice video I have watched on year 13, great video! Very straight to the point 🙂
In the caribbean for some (nearly alot) of courses dont require year 13 grades but year 12. We also dont continue with stuff from what we previously learnt. Ofc there's some stuff thats overlapping but its a whole new syllabus.
Brooo just found this channel and it looks so good. Same position as u but going into medicine in UCL. Goodluck with dentistry man, video quality is 👌 btw
Hey man, I watched your video. And my mock grades were literally DDD, and this summer I’ve gained 2 pieces of work experience. But my Year 12 knowledge has not increased at all due to my time being taken up. What do I do ?
That sounds like a tough scenario. I would definitely suggest spending more time trying to get the grades you need and maybe allocating more times to more urgent things if necessary. 2 work experience placements is great so now you should focus on getting everything together for your uni application whilst trying to focus on grades the whole way through. It will be tough but it is possible! 👍
I will make a video on this but all the topics in Yr12 and Yr13 are sort of combined so you can put them all in a folder. I recommend Unjaded jade's approach where you have a folder for each subject and carry a day folder in school. I organised my folders by placing all the past papers at the front of each topic and all the notes at the back, separated using dividers for each topic. You will get the hang of it and I wouldn't overthink it until you try it! 👍
I didn’t do as great on my UCAT as I wanted, but I still did okay for most of my choices, do you think I should focus on getting my grades up rather than abandon the idea all together? I got just below the cut off for my first choice, but I am from a wondering participation background and they have allowances for people like me. Do you think it’s worth keeping it as an option on the chance that I might get in, or leave it and apply to only three med schools and 2 other courses?
Yes, I definitely think if you are passionate, continue with your current journey. Look for contextual offers too! I think that putting an aspirational university on your list is 100% the right thing you should do as you never know what might happen. Normally, med students apply to 4 medschools and a 5th choice in another course as a backup, I would ask around since I don't know your full situation, this is just some advice from my experiences! Goodluck, I'm sure you will find what you are looking for.
Hey, love the video! It was really informative. How did your A-levels go if you don't mind me asking? You don't need to say the grades, I just hope you're happy with them
Thank you so much! Will be making a video very soon but don't want to reveal anything atm. All I'm saying right now is that I will be going to study Dentistry and have met the AAA minimum requirements for my offer!
Hi please reply as fast as you can. I got like 1 month left for a level chemistry paper 2 can you like tell me a good channel for edxcel. I am doing very bad and I am really thinking about refunding this paper or do you have any tipsI can do to at least get an A in 1 month or should i Just give up
Predicted grades are usually made by using your mock grades +1 so just aim to get somewhat close to what you want. Revise from the start of the year and stay on top of your work! If you don't understand something, ask straight away or look up tutorials after school if you prefer that! Goodluck 👍
Yes! I did maths so I had to get a better calculator which can do more functions etc. You can find the link here:amzn.to/3BmqGRx If you are not doing maths, then you probably wouldn't need it!

Will make a video on this in the future!
How did you organise year 12 topics and year 13 topics revision?

Hey Bro any advice or help for uni predicted grades? I feel I will botch the mocks when we come back in September..
Predicted grades are usually made by using your mock grades +1 so just aim to get somewhat close to what you want. Revise from the start of the year and stay on top of your work! If you don't understand something, ask straight away or look up tutorials after school if you prefer that! Goodluck 👍
May I ask, what calculator did you use because I have not gotten told by my sixth form, which to get.
Yes! I did maths so I had to get a better calculator which can do more functions etc. You can find the link here:amzn.to/3BmqGRx
If you are not doing maths, then you probably wouldn't need it!
Can u do for epq
Will be doing a video on this soon.
what’s grades did u get in Alevels?
Video will be out in near future!
I’ve decided to not do an EPQ what should i do instead at the start of the year?
Just focus on getting your achievements or things together which you might want to include in your personal statement and do some uni research!
