Bernie was my friend and client since 1984. We always kept in touch. One could not have known a nicer person and musician. We got to play, have a few laughs and even out to dinner. It was always great just to hang with him. May God Bless!🙏
I was honoured enough to see Whitesnake on their 'Lovehunter' tour. Little did I know (in hindsight) that the best part was not seeing 3 ex-members of Deep Purple on the stage, but watching this guitar team lay down their bluesy dual attack. R.I.P. Bernie. One of the greats.
Because he jumped in bed with bent management instead of standing up to them. Bernie was the only one that did- before he sued them he’d received no royalties from WS work!
Unfortunately, I think some combination of Coverdale and the record company didn’t think they had the look for the music the started with Slide it in. Coverdale drastically changed his look during that time.
Wowzer, 2 fantastic guitarists and boy Bernie can sing. Rest in peace dude.
The best Whitesnake, period.

That's awesome! What a voice on the man. He seems like a genuine guy with no ego. Rare in rock, no doubt.

Bernie is known for being a lead guitarist and for "The Beast", but the guy can sing.

❤most underated guitarsts in the world
RIP Bernie Marsden
Such talented men and so underestimated, god bless you bernie thanks for some great memories
Micky Moody y Bernie Marsden. Cuánto echo de menos a Bernie. Los mejores años de Whitesnake, no tengo ninguna duda
Got to see Bernie with Nev McDonald in Bristol. So glad I did RIP Bernie
I remember bumping into Micky on the tube coming home from an Allman Bros show. Total Gent!
yhe best era of whitesnake
dos grandes de verdad la mejor época de snake fue de ellos solo pude verlos en vivo una vez pero eso alcanzo para toda la vida
Bernie,s voice sounds like Paul Rogers... who knew. RIP Bernie.
How did Coverdale ever let these two get away!
Spot on comment!

Ego and stupid lead singer disease

@pdfortune the rise of mtv and hair metal brought the whole thing down to a flashy combo..everyone wanted to appeal to the US sadly
Reading Festival 1979 ... Great Whitesnake Gig ... Ian Paice had just joined .
Amazing!
❤❤❤
That’s remind me Chris Whitley ❤
The only Whitesnake records worth listening to are the ones with Micky and Bernie on. The post-‘87 hair metal stuff is horrible.
Couldn't agree more
"Slide it in" with Mel Galley and John Sykes was great too.
Im sure Mickey Moody had more grey hair 30 years ago
bernies belly so big he can play steel pedal guitar without having to need a table
early whitesnake were like the band free
I veri whitesnake
