Yes it seems it is all revolved around dopamine. People are just trapped in this dopamine fix. Bad Content Creators know this and use it to continuously engage with the audiences attention span. At least in my opinion I see this as one of the many reasons.
I think it's funny most peoples complaint about the video is just the sound of your chewing like they can't ignore that or look past it to understand what you're saying. I think that's a good reflection of what it is it sounds like you're talking about in the video.
Exactly! People can't ignore noise. They have to put some meaning to the noise, or the content, or the person when all of it is just noise. We decide what bugs us or what the issue is. So it's like why do we give so much attention to brain rot content and idiots posting online (For all I know I could be one of those idiots). The media seems to want to distract us while I am trying to change that and help people see their own gifts instead of giving it to everyone else. Rise above! Pave your own Path! Follow your Heart! Pretending like it wasnt a deliberate decision to eat during a video and acting like it was a spontaneous spur of the moment decision seems like the unauthentic content you are criticizing
I think part of the issue is clearly shown in this video: You eat while making this video, clearly communicating to people who watch that you are not fully there making the video, instead also eating. The audio quality is diminished and both could be easily fixed: - You could have eaten before or after the video. - You have something blocking part of the microphone, causing worse audio quality, and you could have checked for these issues before recording your video. That is probably one major reason why your videos do not perform as well as they could. Because you could put in very little effort for a majorly improved experience for the end user. Which suggests that you do not care that much about making successful videos.
@amazinghorizon8270 Authenticity. you join me for breast. It's not over produced. It is me talking directly to you. Sharing my ideas as I would if you and I were eating breakfast together. you may say this is not for youtube. and so be it. It's like I said in the video. Too many people are staging their videos. I wanted to make it real. And like I also said I get that this is the reason why my vids don't get thousands of views and am okay with that. I have already made more progress when it comes to making videos than I ever have before. I wanted to make Mr. Beast style videos and have found out that isn't for me. I like the talking to the camera video. I will keep improving as I go. As I have noticed some issues with the audio being quiet from time to time. I record on a Gopro and upload directly from the Gopro website. don't know if that causes audio issues or not. I don't follow a lot of the big trends on social as I feel like they are low thought for people who are asleep which is fine. I want my videos to reach the real people. which is what I am doing. Also did say I would be eating cereal at the beginning as a warning for anyone who didn't want to hear it.
Complains about people who make better videos but doesn't want to put in the work that they do. It's not rocket science. Every person he's complaining about doesn't talk with their mouth full, for starters 😂 Joe Rogan wouldn't get 1,000 views if *chew munch chew* every other *munch crunch* thought had *crunch crunch slurp* chewing noises.
Do people only like fake brain rot content?

This is brain rot content!
@@dougwood8614 okay so don't watch it then
my brother, you could have eaten the cereal in peace and recorded the video 5 minutes later and spared everyone the munching noises
When inspiration strikes inspiration strikes.
I see this video like you and I have breakfast together and talk about and idea we both have.
Can't trust someone who eats cereal and ~tries~ to speak while eating.
Can you trust anyone?

It wasn’t a deliberate decision when I made it.
And I think you missed the point again…
@@bendthemasses ya I missed the point and went back to brain rot content because they aren't speaking with their mouth full of food.

Insightful and too true :(

I watched the entire 9 minutes. You said "like" 72 times. Not much of an orator.
Sure did. And thank you for watching the entire 9 minutes.
