i'm so happy with the result. just like asuka vs yugi (when he didn't have god card yet) at first i thought it would be a ritual card to sacrifice sheep or a monster that came with the equipment magic when it was still affected by the light organization.
Honestly respect for the choice to go with the upset result. It's been a few years since I've actively watched these types of anime card pool-only scripted duel videos but I remember people generally always wrote the more important character as the winner (eapecially when it was Atem) even when other characters could realistically defeat the protagonists. I mean, I understand WHY people do that but it's nice to see someone go against that and make things unpredictable for some duels at least
@@icewave_ Thanks for such a comment! Really appreciete the effort and time you put in it. I understand what you mean, i personally agree that every now and then, there should be an upset to make it fun and i think every time i'll make a tournament there will be at least one upset if not more... I cant blame others for doing that tho because you generally want to have characters that have many cards for you to work with rather than side characters that have rather less amount of cards and plays available
@@AvrileX Yep, definitely can't blame them for that. I remember when I first found videos like this years ago and got curious about who would win without scripted games I tried a lot of non-scripted character tournaments with their canon card pools and found that a pretty wide variety could theoretically win games. But if you're trying to script out a whole tournament for entertainment and are limited to anime/manga card pools and no modern legacy support you'll definitely have a way easier time writing a different strategy for each round with someone like Judai or Yusei as opposed to a side character whose strategy might be competent but really one-note or repetitive
@@icewave_ Exactly. For example Alexis here, kinda all you can do is spam dakini and eventually cyber blader as well as the tribute summon of white night dragon Since she has only one machine angel ritual it really makes it difficult to do ANYTHING thats not repetitive
@@AvrileX Oh that's interesting, I could have sworn she had more than one copy of that. But yeah I thought the looping of Dakini constantly was interesting here but you probably wouldn't wanna have to write that 5 times in a row. I guess if you expanded to Arc-V card pool you'd get an extra boss monster to work with for writing an endgame plan but it's still rough compared to protagonist/main rival card pools
I gotta see the ending of this tournament, I just discovered it but man am I invested (I only wish every duel didn't have each player running through a Pot of Greed and Graceful Charity, feels like a copout just to make the duels happen, but I get it, it's a crutch)
@@Archfiend_Sushi7746 Thank you for the comment! Not every character uses those, only those duelists that actually used them in the anime Its just that so many of them had Pot of Greed haha And i always try to make duel as epic as possible so that extra card does help a lot
@@AvrileX Trust me, I understand. No duel is the exact same either. To balance my criticism, I will also give some praise, and say your usage of specific cards that can recover a Spell card from the Graveyard to recycle a Pot of Greed is clever and always character specific - and watching a good play go off is always hella satisfying. I remember Chazz's first two turns, without even the new Ojama or Armed Dragon support, making that all happen was perfect.
Un resultado impredecible por la última jugada pero ya veo la idea si recupera santidad eso le daba más opciones a alexis así que no le favorecia a atem ya que alexis podría sacar el White veil o White fortrees así que resultado muy justo
