Considering the amount of offloading and signings we need:- ST, RW, 2 CMs, RB.....two CBs look realistic.
My dream 24/25 defence would be.

Branthwaite Varane

branthwaite will be for around 75 million so martinez will probably have to go to the bench if we get him

We ideally need a left footed CB like Branthwaite or even Inacio. Infact we could sign new CB's with Varane, Evans potentially leaving on a free & Maguire & Lindelof being sold.
You're spot on for Bremer... Wouldn't be my choice because of his quality on the ball.
Fantastic AJ i enjoyed your video if ETH wants to implement his tactics successfully he needs a fast ballpalying defender. that means Diomande and todibo are our best options on this list
For the younger CBs I wonder if they could be exploited physically by some premier league teams playing next to Martinez. Martinez is in the bottom percentile for aerials won and that's a weakness shared by a lot of other top class ball playing CBs
I would pick Diamonde since we also need a good header of the ball as well as his other strenghts. Looks great! Also I think United 2 new CBs instead of Maguire and Lindelof and Todibo would be my second choice. United should also be able to get him cheap because INEOS is selling to INEOS.

Silva is too slow to play alongside martinez,that's just factual and isn't aerially that dominant yet to cover for an aerial liability like licha,same to todibo,he gets beaten too often in the air and his aerial clearances are usually weak,not a big problem but alongside licha will be one,we need physicality in defence plus a new lcb btw,a player who,s had three major injuries already irregardless of ur opinion on him cannot be relied upon
Todibo should be a certain one, we might do that we can get one more defender
Doesnt need to be a world-beater, we dont need the second coming of VVD. Just a head-down, no-nonsense CB who can consistently grind out 50 games a season for us without complaining. If Licha continues to prove he's made of glass / ETH leaves, we'll probably have to find a replacement for him too and maybe then we can consider someone to build a defense around.
1 CB signing is a must but we also require a left footed defender maybe 1 that can play cb and also left back like shaw does but an upgrade. For this I would go for Toti Gomes as the priority as hes quick, physical, versatile and pretty good on the ball. Would allow martinez to play central in back 3 in possesion.
riccardo calafiori , piero hincapie, jorel hato and goncalo inacio are really good options as well (all u23 players)

De Ligt is another Maguire
Diomande and todibo would be great signings
You could do a varane analysis maybe, i think many including myself would like to hear what he does on the pitch in dept
My top three options for the right sided cb position would be
1. Todibo
2. Kevin Danso
3. Bremer
All affordable options and have the skills required.
Danso is underrated
Todibo & Lucumi I'd go for this summer.
Sign Jacob Greaves. Best left footed CB in championship. 6ft4 athletic, ball playing centre back that also plus at left back. 23y/o. Consistently 8/10 and a leader
Appreciate the video but if we go for RB we will still need back up for Martinez. Todibo could be a replacement RB/RCB, allowing AWB, Maguire, Varane all to leave. This frees up a lot of salary too for a new RCB and LCB 2nd.
Would have liked to see a lefty as well with Martínez isn't available as he has been this season. Otherwise, good video and Silva would be my perferd option.
2 main strengths needed is Ariel ability and pace as we want to play a high line and someone who's dominant in the air to play beside Martinez 🤔
We need to buy 2cb’s. One whose main attributes is, pace, power, height and heading etc., as long as they’re at least competent on the ball, as we need someone to compliment Martinez and allow us to play a higher line. The biggest issue with our defending this season is that when we press our back line plays too deep and it stretches out our team and makes us easy to play through.
The 2nd cb we need of course needs to be a decent defender but must be a top ball playing cb, so if Martinez is suspended/rested/injured our playing from the back doesn’t go to shit like it has this season without Martinez.
Out of the above options, take the 2 which are least injury prone. Obviously, we can't measure that but for eg. De Ligt has had injury problems so let's not go there. Availability is the most important factor.
I am sure no one would doubt that if we had Licha fit for most of the season, we would have atleast the same points tally as Villa
I will not sign a Benfica player they are always expensive

Bremer is what we need juventus don’t play Barca football . But a player with his physicality and speed would help us press high. Turn faster away from danger, Brazilian so he know a thing or two about quick passes. Todibo is lovely player that could do load more in possession but I think a general in defence and Martinez would be striking top that with Onana in deeper midfield like Rice ain’t no way shit going through

we should have already signed one this summer but we didnt since maguire didnt leave. this season we might if we sell enough players but the priority is RCB, ST, CDM and LB (acc to reports but dont ask me if they are legit). idk why ppl would give you stick for saying that, what do they think? maguire can play for us?
I would consider the sporting Lisbon cb but considering AFCON is always played in January it would be a disadvantage

In my opinion we need someone who is physical and dominant in the air to compliment Martinez. Got to have a good balance!

Antonio silva Good player but for the price. 35m Todibo, 45m CB from Juventus. Two CB for the 78m without even arguing about transfer fees.
Other cb must be left footed to cover for lisandro , one right and one left
We should grab Bremer, we have no physical presence in our team with speed

i hope shaw gives us more availabilities and challenge licha for cb and then we can get a young and elite lb who can also play cb, since we got someone breaking through in the next year or the year after that in the lb position😉
Diomande of sporting is the main ideal upgrade not this guys, diomande plays with ease from the back just like Saliba
We should only be looking at left footed players. We need an alternative to Licha. Love the guy but we need cover - learn from mistakes!
We should go and get Mario hermoso on a free. Could cover for martinez and also play in a back 3 or 5 as a middle cb with martinez and todibo either side of him
