    Thank you for this. Used to buy these leads for my dog class many years ago. Took one apart to see how it had been made and thought one day I'd have a go at making my own but just couldn't remember where/how to space the slits. Thank you so much

    Great video! :) Thank you so much for teaching us how to make the leash. I have been trying to figure the braided ends out for the longest time so I really appreciate your video. Try chicago screws and some locktite to secure the ends. Chicago screws look like rivets but they have a screw back so you don't need to buy any tools that you would need for regular rivets. Locktite will ensure that the screw won't undo itself.

      Thanks for your comments and info about the chicago screws. Bought something that used them and didn't know what they were called.

    Am Rebel, The first is Latigo,. not sure the name of the really thick piece. You should be able to use it on wany kind of leather.
    Thanks for asking.

    anyway to show how to do the three slit method? where it gives a longer braid? i know it is only a matter of a third slit but then how do you (fold) or lace the three slits?

    The thinner dark brown leather is latigo. Again, it is pretty thin.

    What is the tool you used to cut the whole in the leather?

  • @smacurface
    @smacurface 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Maybe a good idea to reposition your camera angles to body/arm block. Zooming in on *hand* craft is a good idea too. Good skill..... Bad video.
