Still come back to this song when I'm not feeling the best. I'm glad this still exists as well as the band though they've grown. Melodic hardcore will always hold a special place in my heart. Love.
@@harakiri9 When I contacted Richard Morgan on instagram, the lead singer of Acres, he told me basically the other members didn't want him in the band, it's a shame as as a vocalist he sounded fucking brutal.
@@shawn29089 it’s sucks. I just found out about this band, listened to their old songs and new ones. Richard's songs are much deeper and more emotional. The new songs don't make me feel anything at all.
I cant listen to Richard Morgan's new songs, because he does not have any, but I can follow him on instagram, he watches football a lot, I hope he is happy.
I remember it ed, the story you told me came back clear tonight here while writing, and you should know that the feeling never left me, the weight of my heart when you showed me the scars on your arms, how you said you probably would have died were it not for to care for your daughter and wife
the lyrics are similar to La Dispute's "Edward Benz, 27 Times": I remember it, Ed. That story you told me came back clear tonight here while writing. And you should know the feeling never left me-the weight of my heart-when you showed me the scars on your arms. Seems like Acres even tried to copy the feel in this song.

@@shawn29089 i guess they disliked his style... after they kicked him Acres songs became so basic just like any other band
Those lyrics are super personal. I can empathize with his heartache.
