Hi, I have been following your story on different forums for years, and just finding you on YT. What I hate about telling folks is the look of pity or the “I’m so sorry comments”, despite my positivity! I have had chronic telegen effluvium secondary to PCOS and genetic alopecia since I was 13. I’m 51 now. My hair has thinned and no longer grows back completely. I have been wearing wigs full time since the pandemic. I’ve actually pulled back on telling people. I had a coworker told me she couldn’t tell and would prefer not to have been told I wear wigs! This journey will go thru stages, and I remain fluid depending on the situation and comfort level with the person. It’s good to hear different perspectives, but I don’t love it when people make it seem that reactions will be positive when they may not be the case at all.

What's wrong with your hair? It all still looks there even though it's cropped. You're hardly bald. 😲
