Introducing the 5th Annual Danny Awards Winners

The Danny Awards is an annual global award show that recognizes musicians with disabilities and celebrates differences. This event is the culmination of the hard work and perseverance of talented musicians who submitted performance videos for consideration from across the country and around the globe. The 5th Annual Danny Awards will be hosted on Saturday, October 19th from 4 -6 PM ET at The Town Hall in NYC and streamed online. Performances will include the top eleven Award Recipients, as well as Just Call Me By My Name label artists singer/songwriter duo, Daniel Trush & Gerry Powers, powerhouse vocalist, Iolanta and groundbreaking performer, George Dennehy. Daniel’s Music Foundation was founded in 2006 by the Trush Family to empower individuals with disabilities through music, after one of five undetected brain aneurysms burst inside their son, Daniel’s head. Today, we serve thousands of individuals - locally at our 8,700 square-foot music center in NYC, and nationally through the DMF Online Community. Our mission is to provide a comfortable, educational, and social environment in which individuals of all abilities can enjoy, learn, and practice the joy of music together.
