Agreed. My dog died and I played this for her. This song is perfectly ambiguous to where it’s universal to the human experience. Beach House has a way of writing like that ❤
Indeed. Was playin' Bloom yesterday for the umpteenth time and asked myself....while being preoccupied with "Myth" and "Lazuli"...this could actually be the best track on the whole album when you consider the emotion that it elicits.
Agreed. 10 Mile Stereo was my favorite for the longest time after Teen Dream came out. Somehow this one eluded me among the other tracks on Bloom. All these years later and now it's probably my favorite BH track. Just glad I had the opportunity to see them play it live back when Bloom came out, since it seems they've not played this one since 2015.
@@jessicawatson891 I did, actually! August, 2016. Went by myself. Wanted to not be distracted by friends or other people, just wanted to be there in the moment with Victoria and Alex. It was transcendent, man. Experience I'll remember forever.
This Melody puts me right back at that time; that place, that moment, that feeling, That Aroma, That taste, The touch…. That magical moment that once was; that my heart, my mind and spirit long so much to relive 💔
I was there. The show was amazing. The energy was amazing. They're one of my favorite bands and I got see them with my favorite person on his birthday :]
One of their many perfect songs that will go mostly unnoticed. For me this their best work and probably my favorite song of all time. Words cant do it justice
In my opinion..... Because their music makes you think, it makes you feel. People have a hard time with that. People want easy surface music that doesn't make them think or feel too much, it's more appealing to the masses unfortunately
I'm so glad they've added this song to their set list. I got to hear them perform this one in Oakland on 9/28. Absolutely amazing; definitely my favorite. Great job capturing this!
im not going to doubt the guy, because i know hes a genius from listening to the album, but alex should use a slide to get the effect he is going for. a la david gilmour in echoes - live at pompeii
What's with your bad hearing? First of all, he's not tremolo picking as fast as he should, he's missing tones at some times (3:54 is an example), he once isn't pressing hard enough down on the string or something (4:31), and at times he moves is finger too slow to the next tone up/down the neck. You were saying?
Probably the most beautiful song ever made
Sin duda es la mejor de la banda 😭
I agree. Indescribably beautiful song writing
Agreed. My dog died and I played this for her. This song is perfectly ambiguous to where it’s universal to the human experience. Beach House has a way of writing like that ❤
One of their most underrated song imo. They’re underrated in general.

Underated and probably one of their best songs.

@@stalfos268 same! 10 Mile Stereo was my introduction to them and fave song for years; now I just jump right to On The Sea.
Yup
If I don't see them live before I die, my life wasn't worth it.
u gotta catch them! it's worth it
have you seen them yet?

@@Battury that's freaking epic! i'm really happy for you that you were eventually able to see them. :)
I got to see them in Manchester. Life changing for me and I'm 56

I was so happy I cried while they played this song and it was their first time playing it live! makes it even more special
I want my family to play this song at my funeral. The most beautiful song ever
in hind of sight no peace of mind
I just can't get over Victoria's voice... it's so captivating I've never heard anything like it
The first verse is the best verse ever written change my mind
I was there. The show was amazing. The energy was amazing. They're one of my favorite bands and I got see them with my favorite person on his birthday :]
i'm so jealous
beautiful, especially when she goes into that yeeeah...
Beautiful and strong song. So moody. Best BH tune?
One of their many perfect songs that will go mostly unnoticed. For me this their best work and probably my favorite song of all time. Words cant do it justice
but like... WHY are they SO underrated???? im genuinely confused
In my opinion.....

@@walkintovelvetThe more I listen to this band, the more I think that you're right about this
@@walkintovelvetyou are exactly correct!!! People get uncomfortable in their own feelings
Does anyone else cry when they listen to beach house?
Quite often I would say. It’s so beautiful I can’t keep all my tears inside💙
Who doesn't
todas sus canciones son perfección
Me
Yeah. Doing so now
So beautiful.
Mindful mind flow
What a wonderful song!
If they play on the sea when they come to nyc, I’m going to lose it completely
I'm so glad they've added this song to their set list. I got to hear them perform this one in Oakland on 9/28. Absolutely amazing; definitely my favorite. Great job capturing this!
Finally ! I was waiting for this live since April, they played it on my birthday, what a wonderful gift !♥
Immense.
The song you may choose to listen as a last song before leaving the planet earth🎈
Was my birthday yesterday, first time seeing em, and they played this song for the first time. Also, its my favorite :)
❤❤
The best song i listen to while get high
Dood, that guitarist's really feeling the song
One of my favourite songs from them, and yet less known, comparing to Myth or Space Song. For me, this is a redemption song...
Awh I hear ya unicorn saw them probably with you this weekend and they didn't play it was bummed but an amazing concert. Absolutely captivating
Alex can do whatever he wants, so can Victoria.
I wanted to hear this song live SO bad and they didn't. Pretty much killed me on the inside. :(
holy shit
It would be perfect a concert in Costa Rica :(
yeah they should go there, far away from me
قلبي
Looks like that we are the only Arabs who listen to this masterpiece
are you the music police?! enjoy the music, rather than picking it apart...
Qué tiene que ser vivir eso..
btw yeah, I often doubt alex's guitar "skills", too.. here he really seems on the edge of awkward though sometimes imperfection can work nicely
im not going to doubt the guy, because i know hes a genius from listening to the album, but alex should use a slide to get the effect he is going for. a la david gilmour in echoes - live at pompeii
Would be cheesy for my taste, he did it with silver soul tho.

What the hell is with your really bad hearing?
Great song, but what the hell is happening with the really bad guitar playing

He played the bass with his feet as well. Long shows can be tough.
What a wonderful song!
