If your impatient like me, you can do frosted glass filter for the ball one after doing alpha lock and then do Gaussian blur (idk if it will work tho)

This helped me a lot but i think for the last one if you wanna add shadows don't use like black maybe use some darker purple and lower the opacity. Just a tip 😭

Or can even set the layer on linear burn. I usually do it it this way add another layer clip it and then put it on linear burn for shading and put another layer on screen or add for highlights.

Black is used for getting a comic effect, plus it's a style and still looks good.
