The middle ages were a time vastly different from today. Society was mainly agrarian, organized under a feudal system that divided people into classes, from kings and nobles to peasants. Most people worked in farming, while education was largely limited to the clergy and nobility.
Living conditions were tough; sanitation was poor, diseases were widespread, and homes varied from simple huts to grand castles. The diet depended on social status, with peasants eating mainly grains and vegetables and nobility enjoying a wider variety of foods.
Clothing was simple and functional for most, while the upper classes wore elaborate outfits. Entertainment included music, dance, and outdoor games, with the Church organizing many social and cultural events. The period was characterized by a deep religious faith, particularly in Christianity, which influenced every aspect of life.
