BTW 6:11 I always find it easier to use a lug nut or two to hold the rotor onto the spindle/axle when reinstalling the caliper, especially when using new pads.

Finally! Someone shows the same rear brake system I have on my 96 K1500. Every other video I have seen, and Haynes and Chilton manual shows the brake adjuster on the bottom, not on top of the axle. And this video says C-1500, this truck is a K1500.
I thought the C-1500 was the chevy and the K-1500 was the GMC? is that not correct?

C/K1500 as a blanket statement. The C1500 is a 2wd. The K1500 is 4wd.
Same with the C/K2500 ¾ ton and the C/K3500 1 ton.
How many of us apprenticed as kids holding the flashlight and pumping the brake pedal! I've done drum brakes a number of times... never thought to assemble the new shoes together first like you did. Never too old to learn something new. Great episode!
