What was the name of the book by Imam nawawi that he was reading from at 14:30min please ? This video is of great benefit what is the name of the respected Shaykh? And how can I connect to him please?
Salaam, that was an amazing lecture and I learnt a lot from it. It is clear from this lecture that it is better to avoid interpretation of 'unclear verses' and just move on from verses that appear to be anthropomorphic at face value which is the principle I plan on sticking to due to so many questions in my head which I haven't gotten answers for it yet. My first question, Does it take a person out of Islam to believe that Allah has a hand unlike our hands (i.e. without description or modality)? If it doesn't take you out of Islam then is it bid'ah to believe in it? The Sheikh in the video said that the Salaf said it is NOT a limb but refrained to say what it means which makes sense. Also Surah Qiyamah verse 22-23, it says that some faces will be radiant looking at their Lord. How is this interpreted? Is this a mutashabiha verse? Is it understood as we will see Allah SWT without believing that Allah SWT is in a direction & location? Following this question, Surah Al-An'am [6:103] it says that no vision can grasp him but his grasp is over all vision, can we use this verse to say that we can see Allah SWT in a manner befitting Allah SWT which is NOT seeing with our eyes because that would imply Allah SWT is in a place and direction or does it mean that it is impossible to see Allah SWT in the hereafter? I think anyone reading this can tell I'm confused so if anyone that has an explanation or a book that I can read which addresses my questions would be greatly helpful.
that is what i have been rhinking for years. the verse which mentions seeing allah seems as if it is a mutashbiat verse so why is it considered a deviant belief to do taweel of it. Also the quranic verses not seeing allah seem more clear
@@muslim-g1x there's two approach from ahlusunnah regarding this, tafwidh is believe in words of lafaz but surrender it's meaning only to Allah (no second guessing) or takwil to give it's meaning in which it's appropriate to Allah only (by not giving literal meaning). But wahabi instead using two approach above, they're using literal meaning on mutashabihah ayat
The realm of this world and the realm of the next world are two different and too different. Their realities and the metaphysical and physical differences that occur or shall occur in us or with us in each are also different. For example to draw nearer the intended meaning that shall (In Sha Allah) clear your doubt(s), understand the topic of Khamr. In this world, the khamr is haram (made Haram by Allah SWT) يا أيها الذين آمنوا إنما *الخمر* والميسر والأنصاب والأزلام رجس من عمل الشيطان *فاجتنبوه* لعلكم تفلحون and in the next world is Halal zulal وأنهار من خمر لذة للشاربين (made Halal by Allah SWT). If the Imagination of the how on this example that of the khamr is oblivious to us, then how are we expecting to comprehend the reality of how it will be possible with regards to our limited beings be able to literally see Allah SubhaanaHuWaTaaala when The seeing of Allah by Muslimeen is an established closed matter that is undeniably happening among the AhlusSunnah contrary to the Mu3attila Mutazila and not in the anthropomorphic mujassima sense of direction and time and whatever worldly way in contrast with the Attributes of Allah SubhaanaHuWaTaaala and creation and the occurrence of the phenomenon of seeing Him.
You deny the limb, apendage, location, motion etc, the literal basically. You accept the word and consign the meaning to Allah. The ahlal biddah say "it is a hand but like no other" type of nonsense when we know the salaf clearly denied the literal. If one does the first that's supreme. The next best is taweel fitting the majesty of Allah, and the worst is what the Alhal biddah (literalism) engage in.

I also like how you didn’t translate the attributes to English, you kept in Arabic, beautiful 🤩 way my brother. May Allah increase your knowledge and accept your khidma for the ummah
Wallahi, the pseudo salafist truly misunderstood the text. to be honest, when they say we affirm the sifat of Allah, it includes that they know the apparent meaning and negate the modality but in reality they truly misunderstood on what the salaf intended to say when the salaf say affirm the sifat of Allah, it includes that we believe in the apparent meaning/reality (haqiqatan) which means we believe it has a meaning and its reality but only Allah knows what he intended to be. it goes down when we ask the pseudo salafist do you know the apparent meaning?of course they gonna say no. because as the ahlussunnah we affirm the reality and only Allah knows what he meant by that reality.
Also brother, since I saw one of your comments in a subject where a view which goes against consensus of our scholars was mentioned.
