How to Stiffen Sinamay

Stiffening your own Sinamay couldn’t be easier. Follow these simple steps and produce Sinamay to your very own standard.

When making hats, if you don't stiffen the Sinamay it will not hold it's form during the blocking process.

Not sure what you mean by greaseproof paper. Is it brown craft paper, parchment paper, tissue paper?
