does this mixture work on black fabrics? like it doesn't leave a white stains?
Yes, I use it on dark coloured felt, just make sure you get the proportions right.

Can I use pva glue with a straw hat (vintage boater hat) ?
In all honesty, I'm not sure I have never made a boater hat before, but I don't see why not if it's made from straw.

I use equal parts PVA glue and Water.
Where did you get the large (metal?) base you used?
You can buy hat blocks from Ebay.
@@Twistfashion Yes, I am well aware of that, but my Question didn't ask regarding generic blocks. Did you purchase that metal one on eBay, or from somewhere else?

@@Twistfashion You didn't, I was just looking for something specifically like that, and didn't want to miss an opportunity to get one if they were available for purchase, hence wanting a direct answer to the question. Thanks!
@@devonzebrovious5070 It´s the plate of an old scale. You can search by "old scale images"...

Hi It's PVA glue also called Modge podge and can be found in crafts or DIY shops

Please can you give the name of all the material that I will use to make my one?
The material I used is Sinamay and I used PVA glue or you can get special hat stiffener from millinery shops.
Does it works with fake leather?
I have never tried, but I think it should work.

It is PVA glue, aka school glue.

Sorry, just put the fabric in the stiffener and place it on a hat block. I hope that helps xx
