I just bought a 2016 Indian Chief Vintage with that old nostalgic look fenders, leather bags, even fringe It’s awesome bike only 5,000 miles on it at a great price. Way better than my Harley’s I had. Runs great 1811 cc 111 ci , about 90 horse. Upgraded pipes and tuned. Love it!!!! Oh yea same Indian chief head sticker on gas tank.
Mike Wolf and Frank Fritz the best and pickers they served their whole life and finding the truth and finding what available out there on today's market the Indian bike is victorious is one of the best bikes you could ever buy thank you Mike and Frank sharing this video you two are awesome true Patriots of America
Ya but it’s easier for someone to get 40k then it is to get these two specific bikes... imagine having dozens of 40 thousand dollar stacks... you have dozens of them..you only got 2 vintage cycles like these beauty’s.. I’m a Harley lover but when it comes to vintage,Indian is a beast
My former boss had a 1910 Indian fully restored in his warehouse! Whenever I went there to detail his Ferrari,I would just walk by and admire it,Never touched it!!! 😁👍
Had a chance to get a 1948 Chief with matching sidecar , but so excited about had a few toasts with a friend then when to pick it up and couldn't find the guy. Kicking myself ever since. Guy wanted 3k. One owner, mint.
Notice how the seller didn't want to set the price and asked the seller what he would pay. That makes me think the seller does not know the current value. $40,000! I don't think the seller knew it was that valuable. Time stamp 2:27
---->>> Shows you that appearances can be deceiving. If I met those two guys I would never have thought they would have anything at all cool. I would expect them to have a collection of hobby horses.
I love your show. I have a ? for Mike. I have a 1948 Indian Chief V twin. I changed the kick start to an electric Kiwi starter. I have nothing but trouble with it. Some times it starts and than bam!!!! it won't start. Than the next day, wow it starts right up. Do you know if the Kiwi starters are a bad choice?
Jason Watts not at all (especially Mike) they are fair with the price they pay for things and I’ve even heard of them buying things and making more money than they thought they would and taking more money back to the person they bought the stuff from.
Mike how can you let go of vintage motorcycles? I'd be a mess. I wish you the best of luck brother. Keep the top 10% to keep. You can do it. I liked Frank but it was time to move on. I'd leave the door open to him coming back. I know you aren't a heartless jerk, you'll do the right thing. Neal Apollo Beach Florida
They overpay. When people say Frank is cheap, I hope they know that he's the one trying to pay the true price. When the economy crashes, decorator antiques will be worth nothing.
@@jackreacher9452 the new ones are better made than Harley and also are made in the States, not assembled in the States like HD. At my local Indian dealership, they have so many used harleys because they're being traded in for Indians.
Cash strapped for business. Let those bikes go. Get your money, build your business and when business up and running making money go ahead and buy them again. They are always for sale.
This show should be called American Motorcycle Pickers. They have abandoned their original forte, e.g. small, unique, rare, peculiar, items. If you’re not a motorcycle fan, this show is not a show you’d want to watch.
Catch new episodes of American Pickers when the series returns Mon Oct 21 at 9/8c!

Live in wilkes- Barrie Pennsylvania, saw an old Mexican man pushing a like new 1910 to1913 Indian motorcycle down the road. In the summer of 2019.

Love american pickers the show is awsome
Seen this Indian in India, my dad took me to a Garage n fell in love with it.
If I ever win the lottery I got to find this bar and see if I can buy all these bikes
I've always been a fan of the Indian chief. I would always prefer a Indian over a Harley.
I like Indians they were beautiful
That '39 Indian Four at Mecum's auction in Las Vegas (or on Ebay) would bring $55-68K in it's current condition.
Love American pickers
from malaysia guys...good job

1:04 lol Toyota Corolla I love when they make modern videos black and white to make them seem old 😂
The Japanese in line four air-cooled super bikes have become Japanese gold. They're going for 5 grand in California.
I wouldn't have left without a few more of those bikes if I was them & I would have kept at least one
I hate how these guys technically raised the prices for all these old gems and now it’s hard for us to buy one or enjoy one
Eh just lowball em or bust anyway you'll still have that money for other things you might enjoy.
First seasons: I’ll do 50 on this box of old doorknobs
Most recent season: I’ll do $27000 on Aerosmith’s original tour bus
Billy Osborn Lol totally true
Sell all those bikes to people who will ride them

Kiwi starters are good. If it spins over that's not the problem. Most likely a fuel issue.
NOBODY CARES about your troubles
Wow.
The chief is bigger than the in line 4 !!
The picker trying to sell the buyer.
Great beautiful bikes always wonder about Frank why he dragged Showdown
My great uncle has a few in his shop his name is rocky but I don’t remember his last name since I rarely see him he also builds engines
