Hello everyone, Amanda Clark here😊 I am the artist and author of this message card deck. I have never written anything which has become published before, it is not necessarily my strong point, but I was inspired by what I would want from a message deck, with a mix of my imagination alongside my artwork. I intended to go forward with a message card deck as I have other projects in the works which I did not want this one to be in direct competition with. I can understand the confusion as decks like these are almost always oracle decks. Message card decks are intended for affirmations, you can draw however many you like from the deck and they can be your affirmations for however long you desire. I was distraught when I discovered that some decks had been faulty, like this one. I immediately complained about this to my publishers as the quality checks were not up to standards. The issue of uneven cuts and sticky cards has since been resolved. I have checked many of the new decks which are all perfect, and I have sold over 100 copies since then with only positive feedback. I am so so sorry that you received one of the defected decks, it truly breaks my heart. I am going to message you via instagram❤
We are used to see the images having the "action" meeting the words.. and thats where these are great, because, when something comes up in a reading, usually means what you need to do right now.. so the images here, are representing you at the moment.. like the Altruist card.. he is lying down instead of looking brave and full of energy.. but the message here is that You Are the one not being altruist, You represent the hare laying down, and altruism is somthing that you need to embrace when you are feeling down and low on energy and vibration.. i hope i am making sense :)
I received my deck yesterday and it is lovely! I absolutely love your artwork, Amanda! Many thanks to Sandi for this video, which showed me the deck and prompted me to buy it right away. It will be a staple in my library for many years to come. 🩷
This deck is stunning! I read each word and could see the word in the art. My intuition was sparking as I created stories of the images and the words just blended right in. Thank you, so much for this review!
That is so cool! Yes it is a beautiful deck! And the creator, Amanda Clarke, is a wonderful person! I definitely recommend this deck! The cardstock issue has been resolved with the printer as well so it is now much easier to handle as well! ⭐️💖
One of the lovely things about it is the way the landscapes almost create a panorama effect side by side. I was able to read them as trilogies as you laid them out and can definitely see it being used for reflection rather than "oracular forecasting" (I made that term up but hopefully it makes sense :) I've just ordered a copy on Amazon and hope it doesn't have the issues you've faced... The artist must have been very frustrated. Doing a quick count of the cards during your flip through I think there's about a third I'll set aside (the non-animal ones mostly) so that will also probably make the deck easier to shuffle. Hey! That is a very cool way of reading these cards! I will definitely try it out! I have been thinking of making another video about this deck because the issues I had with it before are not really an issue anymore. It is a beautiful deck and I think the publishing company and the creator have sorted out the printing issues so the cards are not sticky anymore. It is such a beautiful deck, I hope you will enjoy it!

I've been following Amanda Clark's work for a few years now & I remembered commenting on her FB page that she should do an Oracle Deck 🤩 Thank you for the lovely flip through of these gorgeous cards but like the majority take on it, I may only get it for the Artwork & not otherwise 🌻✨🌼 Blessings 🌟

Thanks for the walkthrough. My cards arrived today. I was worried they'd be stuck together too but they were fine much to my relief! (I just noticed Amanda's message to you, it looks like the issue has now been resolved so we can all buy with confidence!)
Yes! the issue has been resolved and Amanda was so very kind and generous and sent me a replacement copy as well! I have been meaning to make a new video on this deck with the new cardstock! I hope you will enjoy the deck as much as I am!
@@ExploringTarot I think it might be worth doing an update on this deck as it would be a shame if anyone was put off buying it because of a card stock issue which is now resolved. You seem to be one of the few reviewers of this deck as well which is how I came across your channel. I love these cards, they have such a soothing quality. They remind me of the Hannah Willow oracle with the focus on hares and woodland wildlife. I love decks with a woodland theme, I see we have quite a few in common! Have you seen The Tarot of the Owls coming out in 2023?🦉
Silly YT never alerted me to your response on this comment thread! I am very tempted to get the Tarot of the Owls but I have held off so far, I don't quite know why... I think making an updated video is a great idea. I need to try and work one into my schedule!

I agree with everyone .. the artwork doesn't work with those keywords .. I even thought of it in terms of trimming those keywords .. sometimes the artwork has a clear message but in this case .. sometimes it doesn't ..

Aww thank you Clare 🥰 they are pretty small but a bit thick , this newer printing is a lot easier to shuffle and it is quite comfortable to hold and shuffle. The card measurement is 6,9 cm x 10,4 cm and the deck is 3,3 cm thick.

I wonder how come you are the only one reviewing this deck. I too love this artist, and just found out the deck exist. I used to wish there would be a deck drawn by Amanda. I hope the deck I've ordered would not be as sticky and unevenly cut like the one you're reviewing. I hope I will be able to use it as a divination tool, regardless of you pointing out the art doesn't necessarily reflect the keywords and messages. I don't really get the difference between an affirmations deck and an oracle deck... if I pull a card with a message, can't it be an oracle?
Hi Ayelet! Yeah, I really thought more people would check out Amanda's deck! I think that you can use it as an oracle if you want to use it as an oracle! The only think that limits you is your imagination :) I personally found it a bit difficult to read in the way I usually read oracles, but that doesn't mean that this deck can't be super meaningful to you! Hope you love it and that your deck doesn't come with the same uneven corners that I got!
The art work is stunning, but those keywords just don’t work , I might get it to read the messages on the back to see what I think and see if I can find a way to work with it because of the images. Shame it’s so disjointed as it’s a stunning deck 💛
I don't really regard it as lazy, it is more that the artwork and keywords were created separately. Amanda is a wonderful artist and the more I have used the deck, the more I have come to appreciate it for what it is, an affirmation deck. I really adore it and use it regularly :) Thank you for watching!
I had the same reaction with my earthly souls and spirits oracle. The artwork is gorgeous, the keywords don't really do anything for me so I don't use it 🫤
It is sad when that happens, I think I might have been having too high expectations of this deck though.. since it is supposed to be an affirmation deck but I wanted it to be an oracle 😅

I mostly use it for the affirmations or sometimes I also just pull a card and read the artwork intuitively. :)

I think that you can use it as an oracle if you want to use it as an oracle! Yes! I love it very much! I use it for general inspiration and comfort, mostly for the affirmations 💖

It seems the artist being a bit lazy to just duplicate and rearrange couple features in different cards instead of hand drawing all of them. 😂
