This is the most adorable and precious tarot walk-through I've ever seen 😭 I'm having an emotionally rough day, and I don't have *any* huggy, comforting decks, so I'm watching your videos instead, because I'm feeling very comforted by your being 🥰 This deck is certainly icing on the cake!
I had a thought, though: Like you, I love animal decks, and I prefer it when animals don't repeat, because I use them as part of the reading. With this deck, where it happens only occasionally, you *could* use that as a study prompt if you wanted to. For example, looking at all the cards with the elephant on them: What do they have in common? Is there any theme shared by both The Empress and the Knight of Cups? Soft emotion, perhaps? (Elephants are deeply emotional animals who are closely tied to their families, after all.) Or the sheep on The Sun and The Hierophant; what if the gleeful lamb in The Sun is one of the sheep listening in on the Big Sheep in The Hierophant? How does teachers, mentors and authority figures influence us and our "inner sun" through childhood and adolescence? Those were just some immediate thoughts I had. It could give you another perspective on some cards, if you wanted it to 🥰
Oh, and I LOVE how we see some of the same references to things in this deck! I, too, thought of Eeyore, the sun from Teletubbies, and Bernhard & Bianca! I've been searching for a while now for a deck that really speaks to my inner child, but nothing clicked. With all these references to my childhood, I think this one does 👏🏻
Updating this comment as I watch 😂 The Six of Swords and Five of Pentacles both have mice on them, and they're both about turning your back on something. In the Six of Swords, they're travelling, presumably towards something better, turning their backs on the past, leaving something behind. In Five of Pentacles, they are offered help and refugee inside the building, but have "turned their backs on it" by not going inside and accepting the help. Does this help? 😅

Hi! I’m sorry to hear you are having a rough time! Happy to hear my videos made a difference though! I absolutely love that idea of yours about studying those cards with the same animals! I might even make a video while doing it! Thank you so much for your lovely comment, your ideas really inspired me! Hope you will be feeling better soon! Do make sure to check in later so I know you’re ok! 🌷💕

@@ExploringTarot Oh, and about the Ten of Pentacles: It didn't make much sense to me either, with the wolves and the cat. Maybe the guidebook/pamphlet says they're wolves, but what if you see them as Alaskan Malamutes instead? I can read the card as wolves playing with a cat, which makes no sense to me... OR I can read it as a family of Alaskan Malamutes which have adopted a cat into their family unit, and now they're all happy, abundant together -- which makes sense to me as Ten of Pentacles.
I let out a sound at the sight of the moose, too 😂😍 Just love them so much! (I live in Northern Norway and my mom frequently has moose in her garden during winter.)

Erin is my partner. Thanks so much for the review! The cat in the 10 of Pentacles is actually a representation of her cat Iroh. And the Page of Wands is a loose depiction of our cat Mr. Templeton (although the card shows a kangaroo? I think?) It embodies the spirit of little Mr.. Templeton. So I see his little face everytime that card comes up. Just some fun little inside details. It was so fun watching her create this deck. Thanks for the lovely review and support!

I have a couple of animal decks waiting to be used, and I thought I would just think that I would watch and that's it, even though it's super cute. Then you squee over the 6 of cups and oh the chicks are so cute! Made me think of my children ❤️ I'm more tempted to get it, even with the overuse of borders in the minor arcana. Thank you for the video!

😅 sorry for tempting you! It is a cute little deck for sure! But it won’t necessarily bring any new insights or perspectives since it is an RWS clone. But if the animals makes you squee and makes your heart happy then it is so worth it in my opinion! It is pretty inexpensive for an indie deck and honestly anything that makes you smile is worth it imho. ☺️💛 Thank you for watching!!🌻
