Two days after completion the dog died of old age.😆
I don’t care if it took ten of them, required 20 trips to HomeDepot, and he brought 4 giraffes. This is super cool.

Ascetically speaking, probably the best build I’ve seen and the little details and going the extra really makes for a charming home. Your building skills are much better than a lot of the guys out there. I do worry about how long your plastic on the roof will last for.
I fear more about the plastic in the windows. Every time the door is opening you can see the pressure on the windows and in one scene condensed water on it.
@@Pets383 it’s easy to fix or replace windows, not so for the roof. No roof, no home, just a drippy, soggy mess.
I didn't mention the roof, because I don't worry about it. The plastic sheet will not rotten and so humidity has no chance.
@@Pets383 you are incorrect. It doesn’t rot but it does break down and probably only lasts a few years.

This build is my favorite of all that i have watched; because he used everything from the land...except the plastic. Part of the reason it took so long is that he had to saw everything by hand.

Looks beautiful. Though I do worry about the strength of the roof to support the soil, plus snow during the winter and/or any large animals that come through.

Great job, the only thing that I would change is that I would use plexiglass instead of that thin shower curtain plastic on the windows.

I love this! I do have a question though. What about the static pressure of water in the hill up against the back wall? Don't retaining walls require drainage planning to hold up long-term?

I will say this that's amazing work it's absolutely beautiful it's cute but I would have used plexiglass as opposed to that thin plastic for Windows!!😮😮

It would be nice to know where all of this pre cut wood comes from. Is he trucking it in but leaves the truck farther away? And how many weeks, or months is it taking to build these shelters? I would love to know exactly how much progress he makes in a single day as well.
