It’s nice to see Luz knows her girlfriend so well but she still initially fell for the lie. The fact that Luz actually thought she would attack her shows the lack of trust here. Like everything Amity said to Luz after Belos outed her wasn’t enough. We’ve seen how Luz lying to Amity and assuming things about Amity have hurt them. And now seeing that Luz still doesn’t trust Amity is worrisome.
@@kevinmorris3200 I think it's odd how quickly Luz realizes it's all a dream(not bad or good just less dramatic than the usual illusion or DreamWorld scene or episodes in other shows and movies). I mean in other dream situations like the portal from she ra, the marcy fanstasyland scenes from the ending of the end(Amphibia)and the episode for the man who has everything from the justice league animated series, it takes a bit longer than a few moments for the chacters in those situations to realize that they are not in an actual real environment. It's like yeah bring it on than eventually they learn that there's something wrong with the matrix and are like wtf I'm in a dream?
In the fact that this is the moment where we actually see Luz touch Amity's face and she doesn't blush, gave me the clue that said this isn't real. Amity always blushes when someone touches her. Which means Amity is not even aware of what's going on.
Exactly! It gave those real nightmare vibes, the artists truly did a great job on that. I’m not even mentioning his dialogue and scene, which is amazing as well!
This clip could be shown in animation classes to show the importance of eye glint. Luz's friends are drawn without eye glint in this scene, which gives them a 'dead' look, fitting since they are being puppeteered by The Collector.
I really liked what Hunter said to Luz about waking up from a bad dream. It's they've both been attempting to do since the events of Hollow Mind, and something Luz helped Hunter with more than once. Also 4:41 may be my favorite frame of the show

A lot of Disney TV Animation's adorkable heroines seem to be trick into doing that a lot. Or do it on purpose in Star Butterfly's case, but the less said about that the better.
What I find odd is that when the hexsquad wake up, Amity, Gus and Willow all have their strings STRIKE at them and have them struggle to continue fighting, but for Hunter? Nah. He waits a whole 2 scenes before having his strings attach. Now, how I like to look at it is, the collector *knows* Hunter. He’s witnessed Belos toy around with the Grimwalkers for centuries. I feel might’ve gotten a little bit attached to the guy and wanted to be tad bit more easy on him. Now another way you can interpret it is through depression, while his friends fight to stay awake, he just embraces the fire, only waiting for them to finish in order to return to darkness.

This is quite the nightmarish scene and wonderfully worked out. Call me disturbing, but it is actually one of my favorite scenes in the show. :D Had the Owl House Season 3 been longer, this could have probably been drawn out longer, with this being longer and having more scenes with the other friends Luz made, like f.e. Emira and Edric who were criminally underused, or this being shown in another manner, with some characters getting a bit upset, because Luz devotion to finding Eda and King is so present, while their parents and loved ones basically don't show up in the equation. I know that they all care for those two, but hey...they have a right to want their families back too and not feel bad about that.
2:24 That's the clearest thing this us a nightmare. BECAUSE THAT ISN'T TRUE *AT ALL.* They didn't landed on Earth because they tried to help Luz get there. They landed there by accident. And it wasn't even with the portal Luz, Eda, and King made, but with the one the wacko made.

This is quite the nightmarish scene and wonderfully worked out. Call me disturbing, but it is actually one of my favorite scenes in the show. :D Had the Owl House Season 3 been longer, this could have probably been drawn out longer, with this being longer and having more scenes with the other friends Luz made, like f.e. Emira and Edric who were criminally underused, or this being shown in another manner, with some characters getting a bit upset, because Luz devotion to finding Eda and King is so present, while their parents and loved ones basically don't show up in the equation. I know that they all care for those two, but hey...they have a right to want their families back too and not feel bad about that.
