4:31..I believe the CDN definition is incorrectly stated... I believe, simply speaking, its primary purpose is for distribution of static contents (eg. Video, binary apps packages etc) via CDN instead of pointing it to the transactional website. This way we can offload traffic to distro site from the core websites

Thanks Hemanth for your comment. I am sorry but whatever i have stated in the video is correct. Its purpose is to reduce latency of content delivery to customers that are away from the location where original content is located.

Herman, Rudra's description was brief but correct regarding the CDN even though he did not mention all Web servers contents will be cached on the CDN locations, but your explanation above is to complement the definition of CDN of what Rudra stated. Both correct. Thanks
