  • Join me as I seamlessly edit in a box art photo, try to fit in the expression “hit and miss” as many times as I can, and explore whether pike length truly matters in order to determine whether the Warlord Phalangite kit is worth a buy.

Point of order: around the 3:00 mark I made mention of Warlord buying out Wargames Atlantic. WGA is alive and well, and the company they bought out was actually named Wargames Factory.

To add to the list: the metal dark age figures are from "Saxon Miniatures" sculpted by Colin Patten, currently working under the Ragnarok Miniatures name. The Greek plastic & metal figures came from Immortal Miniatures, you'll find that range is all sculpted rather small/slight.

@@richn5321Thanks for the additional context! Wasn’t aware of Saxon minis, but have built those Greeks back when the kits were still owned by Immortal and can second the fact that they’re *tiny*.

Have some! Likely won’t pick up another box anytime soon for a review, but they’re the result of another acquisition by Warlord from a company called Immortal Miniatures. They quality is excellent, and I like their advancing/spears over shields poses, but they’re *extremely* small - probably the smallest multipart plastic models I’ve ever dealt with.
