That would be cool. Unfortunately, I don't currently have time to go back to re-watch and markup the live streams. I do hope to make time to do more highlight videos that summarize topics in individual videos like I did for the WiX dev build topic.
machine learning will probably automate it sooner than later, just have to get a bot to watch the videos for you

The Deployment Dojo is actually designed to be watched serially. Think about how much you've learned by working from the beginning. You should have a much more solid foundation of how things work "under the hood".
Thanks for the great videos. I had been using one of the free MSI installers from Microsoft in my .NET 6 solution. The installer recognizes that it has a dependency on the .NET 6 and .NET 6 desktop frameworks and will download those dependencies and install. That's great. But i have a client (military) that doesn't want a net connection so I'd like to bundle those two installers with my application. Is that possible to do with Wix 4?

Do you have a video on how to config heat, that is driving me insane as I cant figure it out on the offical documantation
Not yet, but several episodes on harvesting are coming very soon. In fact, I think harvesting will be the next topic we cover after finishing the current series on configuration (starting at episode 30).
@@meschine Do you know if there will be any books out on Wix 4 like Nick Ramirez Developers Guide? I still do enjoy fliping through books despite the internet
Sadly, I've not heard of anyone writing new books. We are updating the tutorial on firegiant.com for WiX v4 but that will still only be pixels on the screen.

would v4 support auto update
Bundles supported auto-update in WiX v3. The same mechanism works in WiX v4. You can see it in use in v3 in the WiX Toolset's bundle and in v4 the WiX Additional Tools uses it.
What terminal are you using or is it some mode for Windows PowerShell?
Nothing too fancy. It's Windows Terminal running PowerShell.
would it be possibel that you guys work with ms together their offical doku is wrong and the service isn't starting and even duplicated references are included also x64

assumption bias, I dodged you videos the first few times because I assumed they'd be in a foreign language.
Interesting. Was that assumption based on the thumbnail alone? The title in English didn't suggest otherwise? I know more needs to be done to make this a "real" TH-cam channel, like better thumbnails, I just haven't made the time to do so... So your feedback helps me prioritize what's most important. :)
@@meschine mostly the thumbnail. sometimes I can follow a tutorial in a language I don't know if the screen shots are clear and I can see what they are doing, but I usually just keep searching for another video. But alot of the WiX stuff is still v3 and you kept coming up at the top for newer stuff in the last year, now I have to go back to episode one and start from the beginning. You are covering great content. Really appreciate it.
to elaborate when I say mostly, it was also influenced by clicking on other videos from other channels just find out I couldn't understand at all, so that probably added to it, but that's not direct, more what I thought would happen.
