Don't agree with you pal thistle in the 60s and early 70s got decent crowds they were even up 4-0 at half time in the league cup final against Celtic eventually winning it 4-1 that's against a team who won the european cup 3 years earlier and appeared later in 1970 against feyenoord in another European cup final.Thistle had a excellent team back then some players ended up at big English clubs I'm sure Alan Hansen and his brother played for thistle Alan rough in goals thistle are most Glaswegians team we want to do well they were once a very good outfit .Rangers and Celtic fans are not glory hunters esp us Rangers fans when we were in the third division Ibrox still had over 45 thousand fans in it for most games considering where that club was and how far Celtic were ahead it's amazing Rangers still pull out those European wins and should be so much farther ahead in the league.We follow Rangers not for glory lol we follow because it's the club we love it's in our DNA .

About 3 years ago 8 of us went to Glasgow for a stag weekend and on the Saturday afternoon we decided to go and watch Patrick thistle at fir park. It was a great day and everyone made us feel so welcome. 8 English dudes in the Patrick supporters club bar before the game not knowing what to expect but from that day will always have a soft spot for thistle and hopefully we’ll get up there again.
Haha I dunno why I waited so long, it was such a great night! The game wasn't that good, it was cold, it was a cup game, it was a Friday night but the atmosphere was still SO GOOD!!!
