Who is this young couple! It’s like a time machine. Thanks for making this and for going all out and using solder. Very professional. Good to see Maxy out the window.
Hi, I’ve just read yr question. I have just released video where I wire straight to a cigie. Have a look and let me know what you think. Cheers Out There Touring
Hey legends awesome vid great idea with the silicone on the back. where you able to get the screws to line up with a wall stud? Or was that the reason for the silicon?
Been watching a few of these vids to try and convince myself to fork out $170 for a 12v fan! It sounds like they do it all but wow are they expensive for what they are!
Everyone raves about these fans. We are about to do 2 weeks of roof top tent camping, hopefully we won’t be too hot but I’m sure we will be wishing we had a fab haha

Hey guys how did the fans hold up over the whole trip, no issues just screwing them into the wall. The silicone would definitely help hold it. We’ve just purchased a XT12HR but it only comes with 1 sirocco but thinking of maybe adding another.
No problems at all!! The boys did there fair share of swinging off them as well. Defiantly use a bit of silicone can’t go wrong! Thanks again for watching.

The guy who designed the backing plate has got me funked. I simply cannot slide the fan down to align the final two screws 😢 After struggling for an hour took the backing plate off of the wall to test the key hole slots and they slide easy, and it's no problem to slide the unite down, so the screws align, then I put the backing plate back on the wall and it won't slide again. after trying for an hour I come to the conclusion I simply can't do it, and have booked into the Spec Savers. 7.37

Glad this vid is still proving useful! 😎 thank you(:
Thanks so much for sharing your fantastic video of the Sirocco II installation. We love it! Safe travels and enjoy your adventure!
Thanks so much for watching 👍 glad it helped!
Awesome stuff guys! I'll probably need to do the same (to save money) when we get our new van!
They are worth every cent 👍 congrats on the new van 🤠

Put one in today. They had put the + sticker on the end of the negative. Took me an hour to work that out as the problem of no power.
You got there in the end it sounds like (:
Those fans are great.
They are so good! Would Defo recommend! Thanks for watching!

Hey Thankyou for watching!!
yes was half the reason the wall stud was to far away. They haven’t budged at all 👍
@@elnick.adventures Thankx for the reply legend. Sweet as I’ll get on an order some now cheers again 🤙

We totally understand that, they can be pricey! But, it's a worthwhile investment to be comfortable on the road. 😌 we’d had no dramas (:

Are the 6 screws that hold the base plate onto the wall self tapers?
Just normal screws🤘
Do you think it's possible to put on a 12v or USB plug instead of hard wiring?
Hi hope (: yes of course 👍

Just wondering how you kept little fingers out of it ?
We don’t 😂 they eventually learn haha (:
Sucks it requires to directly wire it, wish it had an 12v end to just plug it in.
Agreed but atleast there’s no wires showing so can be abit tidier 👏🤠

😂😂 good old specsavers 🙌
What is the voltage that you are wiring the fan to looks to be more than a 12v gauge wire? Thanks!!
No 12volt 🙌
