Yaz - Goodbye Seventies (Cold Duck mix)

Before Erasure there was Yazoo (Yaz here in the U.S.), a collaboration between keyboardist Vince Clarke and vocalist Alison Moyet. "Goodbye Seventies" was not a single from their debut album, but it certainly served as an anthem for me back at the time. I was 16 when this came out, and the rushed new wave dance beat kissing off the excesses of '70s pop was irresistible. I recently created a decent-enough set of stems to remix "Goodbye Seventies," and though it's message is hilariously dated and irrelevant today, I still love the song and couldn't resist making the extended mix that never was.
But goodbye '70s?
