do you have the ability to test how clean the power is on that unit. another review found it was quite dirty, and i'm wondering if that's the case with this unit too
can i use the UPS output on the 12v version to charge a 3cell lithium battery? it has a 12v bms, overdischarge and overvoltage protection. it would be neat if i could charge 2 cells , plus the 12v battery
What happens to the 12/9v output when connected to USB with no batteries inserted ? You only measured the battery terminals, not the output. Does it still boost to 9/12v off the USB port ? You'd be limited to the current of the charger then, but it would still work...
I have tested it without batteries hooked up by USB, it boosts the power to 12.58v just like with batteries. The board acts like with full batteries (blue led on).
Where the batteries put in the right orientation, flat top batteries confuse me aswell(had to check 3 times before putting them in). Or was the load too great.
I wish they sent this with a datasheet or schematic. I want to know how to input a voltage feed without using the on board usb port. Can i hard wire it from an outside source?
There are a couple of soldering spots on each side of the USB port. Both are marked as + and - I tried those and it worked but not sure if they work with higher voltage or only with 5 volts.
The manufacturer specifies Lithium battery protection: over-impulse, over-discharge, over-temperature, over-current protection (if the short circuit enters the protection state after misoperation and does not output, connect 5V charging to automatically activate the recovery output).
@@ДмитроБалушка Thanks, I just got mine a few days ago. The 5V Boost cct seems quite efficient too. Batteries are arranged in parallel. I used a LiPo 1800mAh pack.
Have checked it and my multimeter shows 0.10 volts, with 2 batteries or 1. There are many brands of this module(I got the cheapest) maybe mine is not the best Quality).
The device(ups) acts as an always on device(ups), it wil pass through power and if power goes down it wil use the batteries power and convert it to 5V/9V or 12V according to the specified board you got.

Maybe a solar panel with usb c. Did not know that these modules draw this much power. For now the best solution would be a separate battery holder>cables and a switch on the positive side. Or desolder the battery holder and put cables and a switch.

The one I have is rare. help mee the ic charger short ,seri dekat ic charger..
What is the value of resistor R7 for output voltage 12v, 9v, 5v
It depends on the other resistor, search for "XR2981 datasheet".
5V 3002 30k.....9v 6202 resistor is 62 kilohms (62K ohms)....12 v "913" SMD resistor value translates to 91 kilohms (kΩ)
got mine got when i insert the 18650 cell its ic start to heat to the point of burning is it same you u guys or have i got a faulty one ?

Is it based on TP4056? Is there overcharge and discharge protection?
The manufacturer specifies Lithium battery protection: over-impulse, over-discharge, over-temperature, over-current protection (if the short circuit enters the protection state after misoperation and does not output, connect 5V charging to automatically activate the recovery output).
What is max current that the batteries can be charged at? If only 1 battery fitted, what is max charging current? e.g. LiPo battery instead of 18650.
1A, but I recomend 800mA (R prog tp4056 - 1.5kOm). 1 or 2 batt - current is const - 1A (in default - R prog 1.2kOm)

Does it work as ups, when the electricity is cut it transfers to the battery? Or only charging the battery
Yes, it works like a UPS or power bank

You cannot, for that you need a charger that has that function or a dedicated tester for 18650 cells.
sir my router requirements are 12 volts, 2 amps for Huawei, will it work?
I think it's up to 1 amp.
it will work perfectly bcoz your router 12v 2a max but it ll use only 5 to 7 watts most of the time.
