The fight against Lenora is HELL! I've tried everything, from using a Timburr to teaching a Roggenrola Rock Smash. Rock Smash only does like 2 damage. Ghost doesn't affect Normal, so don't waste your Gengar on that. Watchog's Retaliate move is powerful enough to KO all of my Pokemon after just one teammate fainting. And if she doesn't use Retaliate, she uses Hypnosis (but she doesn't use Hypnosis if your Pokemon has a Chesto Berry equipped!) or she uses Crunch! And I thought it was easy to fully evolve Roggenrola...but that requires a FUCKING TRADE!!!
Jasmine Johnston 1. Gengar isn’t in gen 5 2. Its to early to get boldore or gigalith by the 2nd gym. 3. If gengar was in gen 5 than it would be just as hard as as getting gigalith since he also evolves by trade.
Thanks to this video I can say that in an objective way, Tepig is the best starter to beat the game, has good advantage againts Burgh and Lenora so it's pretty easy to grind him. Oshawott is average and Snivy is awful.
