This is the best cover ever The drums are soooo on point, and the contrast between the screaming and melodical singing makes the song extremely energetic
love this entire cover. but idk that scene at 1:07 when it zooms out with the guitar is just so clean looking great camera angels, whoever filmed this is great
KilosMUSIC Seriously. Fucking chills. I love how it's like a warning, and then by the end of the song it's a fucking threat. They did a fantastic job adapting the lyrics between them.
I saw them at; Soundwave Brisbane QLD Australia waaaay back before they became as hecticly popular as they are now🤩and even back then they were AWESOME!!
Genuinely impressed! I regularly listen to OLN and I have at least 12-14 of their covers in my regular playlist + I'm a metalhead (not the yelling type of metal) - but this just blew shizzle out of the water! This is freakin' GOLD! I hear a lot of awesome influences in their sound from Korn to Disturbed and Metallica and even some Zeppelin in the drums. PROPS, SIMPLY GORGEOUS STUFF!
You are either uneducated musically or you simply want attention - where did I justify that I am a metalhead because I listen to X, Y bands? I only listed the bands that I thought had an influence on the OLN when they covered this song and what vibes I, as a listener, got. And I shouldn't even need to add this but: it's just my opinion in the end. Now I could either explain to you why Korn is a metal band and why Zeppelin influenced metal a lot freakin' more than other bands OR I could politely add that I very much enjoy Manson, Pantera and (the more modern and popular) Ghost. I could as well add that I am absolutely in love with Sabbath and that I SPAMMED the classic 8 albums for years in a row and I'm still mindblown by them. I also love Ozzy. And yes, my favorite band is Korn - but that's a personal choice based on an extensive number of factors. And I wonder how you regard Rush as a band, not to mention Dio or Halford. But beyond all else, DO NOT use the "Sabbath is not a metal band" argument because I stumbled upon it on other occasions and it actually saddens and disgusts me. I sound condescending, I am aware, but you can't realistically expect me to say "yo charles, bruv, you right m8, i love it when they yell and play their instruments at a higher tempo than the one they could actually sync and coordinate at, I love their "art" when they mashup STUFF and scream words that are not discernible, I also DIG that they yell throughout the song and make the entire track devoid of meaning because it doesn't build up to anything". I have friends that like the kind of metal you are probably referring to. Because I assume you fall in one of the 2 following categories: "slipknot is life!!!" ("best metal band ever bro") or nordic (of which they more or less sound the same) - I view northern metal as 80s metal but at a higher tempo blended with end-of-days-cringe-doom-sounds and over the top lyrics, in at most 10% of bands it works, the other 90% not so much. Sorry for being too harsh, hope you'll try to extend your music views and learn to appreciate greater works - trust me, it's for your benefit, there's nothing more eargasming than discovering a great artist for the first time, I passed that point with Bowie, Creedence Clearwater and many more. Fun fact, Corey Taylor (the Slipknot vocalist) recently did a cover of War Pigs together with Wylde and some other talented artists and it was lit af. The point being that I can admire and appreciate an artist like Taylor while disliking his most popular band project, Slipknot. Same with Five Finger Death Punch, I don't like them but they said that their greatest honor was singing with Rob Halford on the same stage and presented him as a proper "metal god" - well, they showed respect and I can appreciate that. You'll say that I cherry pick but let's look at Bring me the horizon which are very popular as a modern metal band on TH-cam that had a backstage poster at a festival saying "These people are not to be stopped ever. They may not have a pass. They can escort who they want where they want with or without a pass." Unfortunately by your comment I automatically placed you in the latter category - I am guilty of jumping to conclusions, but you can't really blame me given how you replied to my previous comment. Jeez this is a long way down the page :)) Props for reading all the way here random youtuber! If you are here please do the band a favour and Share, Subscribe, Like - the wombo combo. *wondering if it's ok to drop a mic or if it would be too loud for the comments section*
The only band I know which transform the great rap I listen to, to the hard rock which make my ear cells dance. Keep rocking the rap. You just do it so well.
Full screamo is too much, the good thing about this band is that they have a nice balance of the two. Also the variation creates a better build-up and makes both feel more powerful.
