Tbh, that’s where you guys are messing up, you really need to take the personal out and trust your analysis.. watch the macd and candle.. sometimes it’s as easy as that
Moral of the story is cut your losses. Having losses is part of the game. You can lose 30%... even up to 50% of the time as long as your winners exceed your losers.
Ross, since you have plenty of capital, can I ask: What is your ideal account size? For that account size, $X, what fraction of X do you trade an your typical set up, 0.2X (under-levered) or 4X (fully leveraged)? Also, trade with account size X or account size 0.25X and use 4 times leverage on that 0.25X?
Respectfully, I don’t think he said “we should start trading at 7am”. Here Ross is breaking down his metrics and the trends that has led him to being a consistent winner. That’s not to say he doesn’t trade at 7am vs 8am, it’s just his data has shown better success for HIS trading. These videos are just a template to work from, but we must test for ourselves to see which work best for us. Hope try at helps
In a lot of cases you will need to open a live account to gain access to their simulation account. Depending on the broker you won’t need to deposit money to open the account. After you have got some experience and a sound strategy that is proven profitable in the simulator then deposit money and take a crack at it. Side note: I recommend practicing the simulator with the actual amount of shares you would be realistically starting live with. The reason is when it’s real money on the line your psychology changes and you will become more guarded in your decision making which impairs your ability to trade freely like you do when you have nothing on the line. You need to get used to what a win and loss will really look like for you when you actually go live.
According to a study over 2 percent of the total gdp of Taiwan was lost per year by Taiwanes day traders. That will give you an idea of the true risk to reward ratio of daytading.
Risk managment is everything. Learning to lose correctly is everything. And before you get to profitability you need to lose every where there is to lose and that costs money and time. If you can make it... it is worth it.
@Ross a few script you shared in one of videos, e.g. "RVSN", "NRBO" has average volume less than 4M. what is caution we should take care for such shares?
Hey, Ross! Thanks for your video! Doesn't trading stocks that are priced $2-$20 is more riskier than trading large cap stocks? They are not as volatile and rangy as small cap stocks. Would you still recommend for beginner traders to work with small cap stocks?
Personally I think beginners should start out swing or position trading. Both of these styles are a lot slower paced and easier to execute successfully.
Hey Ross! Ive been watching your content for little while now and its so enjoyable i love it, you've motivated me to get back into trading again so ive funded me account with a little over 3k. I watch the daily movers and buy in when i think its right, I have made some money with that being said ive lost more then ive made... by alot, im now down 2k and have about 1200 left and dont want to keep adding more money to my account just to lose it.. Now im demotivated and scared to even try again because i feel like every stock i touch doesnt hold up. Can you give me any advice on what my next move should be
@mrDMxtreme thank you for the knowledge brother. You’re 100% right. I guess it is a gamble right so as long as you can maximize your time in the game your bound to have profits
Ok. I am truly on board with the knowledge is power, discipline, patience. Does anyone know just exactly how many hours worth of videos warrior trading has to watch? I’m a full-time oil and gas accountant and I want to watch them but I need to break it out and make it manageable.
@Ross, doesn't the stats around time of day and price of stock etc just mean that's when/what you are trading and not necessarily the best time/stock to trade. In other words, If you only trade $20 dollar stocks, then your stats would show that all your profit comes from $20 stocks.
What percentage would be a good return on a monthly basis for day traders? Last month I made $62K starting my account value from $470K and ended the month at $532K in my 1st month starting as a full-time day trader.
I was there. It was pretty good. All the same stuff in his free videos, but all at once and tied together. Lots of people complaining about the guy trying to earn some money, too.
lol when I started to trade I would go all in on a reversal with really bad timing and yeah…. I learned very quickly not to do that lmao 😂 I dollar cost average now …. Still all in but I do it bellow support. If the stock keeps going I cut my losses past a certain percentage if I’m trading in a high risk range but if I’m near the bottom of a range basically no man’s land. I go long cause I know especially in a good stock that the stock will bounce soon.
@@DaytradeWarrior That's so awesome, thanks! I'm new to trading, and I feel like if I put my mental abilities to trading instead of engineering (at a salary that is near ceiling), I might unlock more potential.
Tbh I’m getting pretty bummed out, I make these trades and since I don’t have an account over 25k. I can only make 4 day trades a week, tbh my account would be into the thousands by now but then I have to watch my profits just vanish because if I make the trade I’m restricted for 90 days.. I’m just tired, I’ve worked so hard and I get nothing just a restriction and stocks I analyze for hours, is really for nothing
Man I wish you made this video a 5years ago would have saved me so much money 😂 this is the information no one really talks about I’ve come to the conclusion day trading isn’t for me more a long run guy have any tips to finding your own comfort zone ?

I lost $45 dollars yesterday. I should have sold at a lower loss but I convinced myself to stay in only to see the stock bleed out.😢 The good thing is that I have other passive positions that can make the money back.
Actually true. I was told ten months ago to invest loads into Tesla. Well I looked up some stuff, only put 3k into Tesla and at the same time, I put 3k into stellantis, europe. I'm down about 25% in Tesla, but I'm up 31% in stellantis, which also pays a good dividend. You won't get rich from watching videos. Do your own work. If you constantly lose, you lose. If you make money, keep going. Only EVER follow your own mind.🎉

Do not be afraid to get out of a bad trade. Live to trade another day.
Worst mistake anyone can make.
I have to keep reminding myself that it feels a lot worse to realize a loss than to miss a gain.
Learned the hard way. This is critical

I cannot believe this video is on the internet. He is a momentum trader and he is explaining the concept with such simplicity. Amazing job.
This is the right video at the right time keep it up. This is encouraging. Trade between 8am and 10am. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday Noted.
😄
Not Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
That's when he is most successful. That might not be when you are most successful.
Some helpful insights here, appreciate it! Got any videos or plans to videos on tracking metrics?? Best journaling practice that kind of thing

1.5hrs pre market
0.5hrs open market

minus 100K BECAUSE when someone wins others must lose, less than 10% of traders make profits

What’s your typical account size, $50k?
If you can answer, how much do you use in your account for your Day trading before taking some out?
Usually around $40k-$60k it depends though.

You still have to pay taxes, right? Which is like 46%.
Short term capital gains ranges from 10%-37%.

I don’t understand. If the markets don’t open until 9 AM, how do you trade at 8 AM?
Many brokers have premarket trading. Webul opens at 4am, fidelity 7am, ect
Can't use stop loss orders and stuff + volatility makes premarket quite dangerous.
