Actually, plasma bomber's special bomb has a fuse depending on how long you hold the B button. Hold it for a very long time, it will have a very long fuse, and vice versa the shortest being around 1.5 seconds.
This just made me think what it the bomberman are really toys that are just being played with the and naybe the bomb explosions are just the kids imagination
