I am a long time Excel user and I never gots to grips with Access. I just wanted to say I am only 14 minutes into this video and already felling inspired by your teaching style and tutorials. It sounds as though you are saying if you can use Excel, Access is no more difficult although it does appear to be a first glance.
I particularly like the pyramid showing the cornerstone and structure to enlightenment...
I'm just hoping this all doesn't come crashing down around me when I actually try and build the inventory system I want.
I am basically trying to have a Master Inventory system which simply but effectively propagates price and quantity changes to Ebay, Amazon and our website through manual upload for now. The dream would be to have dynamic data coming from each site and being propagated to each site if an item sells on one of those sites and the quantity needs decreasing on the others and vice versa.
I have looked at Linnworks and all the other proprietary systems out there but the costs are way too much for my small business to foot hence having a go at doing this myself.
I am nearly 51 years old so learning at my age seems like an uphill struggle.

Question for you. I’m not familiar with Access, but I think I might be able to use it to make work easier. I have a large list of employees at the company I work for who routinely need paperwork filled out and submitted for events. Is it possible for me to build a database, select the names of the members attending the event and then have a macro transfer the information needed into each document? My concern is the docs I’m looking to have auto populated are word and pdf files. Is this possible? If so, do you have a video giving a walkthrough of how to create something like this?

Explain regarding primary key.
In access the formulas or the computations refers to the enter columns, not specific cells(fields). You can only use Col A plus Col B. In excel you can input formula in a single cell in which the components are located in a different row. ex: in cell A1=B1 + B2 or A1 = C2 + B3. If you copy cell A1 and paste it on cell range A1 to A10, this will paste the formula to each cell from A1 to A10 with each cell's related components in the formula. Is this possible in access?

I am not able to export databases containing jpg photos in to excel
When exported it only shows file name but it does not show actual photo
So how to export photos uploaded in ms access in to ms excel file using export to excel command

If I can provide some feedback, I think you have your videos in the wrong order. Here I am, nearly 90 minutes into an Access training video, and I still haven't the slightest idea how to create the first element of my first database. In my opinion, show us how to use the program first, and then make a video like this going over all the options and customizations. Beginners don't know what custom tweaks they may want yet and this information at this stage is just overwhelming and not useful. Just my $0.02, you do an excellent job of explaining, I just think you have things a bit backwards.

Please know I follow the path outlined by Microsoft for certification in Access; but in short, the intent of the video is an introduction as to what is Access and why should I use it and what do I need to have ready prior to getting started.
