I think he may have died during filming and they used a bit of CGI for his later scenes (removed his beard etc) and then went into post production. He was a legendary drunk haha

Well smartass a movie have to be done a year in advance before It´s released, they had to use CGI at many scenes with Oliver Reed because of his death
